Like Miss Coconut, I love J.Crew. There are really only a handful of stores where I shop—Banana Republic, White House/Black Market, and J.Crew. The two main reasons I love these places are A) I have no personal style and they make it easy with their nicely dressed models and mannequins, and B) I know my size and I don’t have to try anything on (I HATE trying things on!).
Today I was having a lazy “me” day, so after baking some yummy Key lime pie and shortbread cookies, I did a little online window (browser?) shopping. I’ve already got our bridesmaid dress situation taken care of, but if any of you guys are still looking for a great deal, look no further!
Look what I found at J.Crew:
Sophia dress, $49.99. It also comes in green!
Julieanne dress, $29.99. It also comes in pink. I’ve tried this on in the store, and it looks great on small frames. Perfect for a city hall wedding, don’t you think?
Matilda dress, $49.99. It also comes in gold/mustard. I immediately thought of Miss Sea Breeze when I saw this dress! It’s the perfect shade of purple!
Check out the berry detail on the Nathalie dress! It’s only $169! It sort of reminds me of Mrs. Peacock’s gorgeous Vera Wang dress! It comes in green, pink, and purple, and is also available with a v-neck.
And just for fun, here’s the $2500 Lucinda wedding dress. Sorry gals—it’s not on sale. (I know, I’m a tease!)

Hell yea!!! Actually, that’s what I ended up buying for my bridesmaids. Sophia in silk chiffon!
Ooh! Lovely lovely purple dress! Sigh. It’s probably a good thing for my wallet that we don’t have J. Crew up north.
My Bridesmaids are wearing JCrew–I just had them each choose a black dress they liked. It’s been so much easier, since each gal can order her dress and have it shipped directly to her house. Instead of dealing with months of wait time, the dresses took less than a week to arrive! And when one dress was too big, my BM just exchanged it for another size. Goodbye costly alterations! 
I’m so glad we decided to go with JCrew!
My girls are wearing 4 different styles of JCrew dresses in kelly green. All were on final sale, so they were super inexpensive. Gotta love that!
I’m definitely thinking about JCrew for my bridesmaids! In fact, I’m waiting on some Deep Atlantic and Navy fabric swatches right now I love that they’d be able to exchange a size that doesn’t work and the ease of shopping JCrew online. But I’ve also been drooling over Jenny Yoo’s silk shantung dresses … decisions, decisions!
That’s where I got mine. I chose the Florence dresses in a mix of strappy and strapless for alternating maids in navy blue. I’m a J.Crew sales associate and with my discount I got them for 39.99. Love them so much I want one for myself!
I just went to the J.Crew outlet store … and they had some fabulous dresses from last year. I could definitely see any of last years Christmas line being great for a winter wedding.
My girls are wearing the new twist top tank dress in marigold I have yet to see it in person but if it looks as gorgeous as it does online, I am stoked!

That is where I got my bridesmaids dresses. They are wearing 3 different styles of the brown cotton cady dresses. I opened up a card to order them (they paid me back for the dresses). They saved 20% (because you get 20% off of your first order) and I got a $75 J. Crew credit to buy a RD dress (you get $25 for each $500 you spend). It worked out well. Just be sure to pay the credit card off right away because the interest rates are close to 20%!!
I’m confused. I just went to jcrew.com and none of those prices were listed. Most were over $200. Is there something I’m missing?
Mary, you have to look in the “Sale” section of the website — they don’t link to the dresses on sale on the regular bridesmaids’ page.
Most of our lovely ladies wore navy silk tricotine from JCrew in the style of their choice. My cousin-in-law chose a navy cotton cady dress and it complimented the other dresses nicely.

I considered J Crew for my dress–including that Lucinda Gown. But, they backordered it for almost 6 months. In the meantime, I found the gown of my dreams and decided to cancel my J Crew order. Too bad for them. They are pretty but the way they make you wait, pay for the gown, return it within two weeks, it’s all too much.
Okay, let me just say that I WANT POCKETS IN MY WEDDING DRESS. I’m pretty sure it’s not possible, even if I whine and beg my mom to make it happen, but still… I want them! Sigh. And I love the Sophia dress.
My girls are wearing the JCrew long Sophia dress in black. I have the short version of it and absolutely love it. I mostly like the fact that they don’t look like traditional bridesmaids dresses. So classy!!
I wish wish wish I would have had my girls wearing Jcrew, but I was purchasing their dresses for them and I just couldn’t afford it. I want to only wear dresses with pockets from now on.
