How many Bees can you spot?
Answer: Cheese, Avocado (via guacamole! LOL), Strawberry, Cookie, Dumpling, Spring Roll, Sushi, Lemon, Coconut (you were a little flaky that day!) and Corn (you wanted to be alone). Sorry Cupcake, you used to be in there… Oh, and if you look a little bit closer, you’ll see our old friend Sweet Tea.
Last Sunday, FMIL Dumpling and her friends were in town to do some early Christmas shopping and to just have a relaxing weekend. After Mass, we all headed down to the Wynn Buffet to stuff our faces and see who could earn their $36 worth of food the fastest. Yes, people. You heard that right. The Wynn buffet is pricey, but it is sooooo worth it!
FMIL and friends are not ready for their big Weddingbee debut yet. Sorry!
It’s not like most buffets, where there’s a pan of this, and a pot of that and a few international stations. No. This buffet looks like it came straight out of Top Chef. Seriously, I was waiting for Colicchio and Padma to bust out of there with a quick fire challenge winner! There is a complete sushi station, a build-your-own taco section and even a part I’ve dubbed “Strange Fruit Section.” It’s definitely the best buffet in town. You can trust me here; we’ve eaten at almost all of them. We’re total buffet connoisseurs.
While we were there, there was a wedding reception going on in one of the private rooms. People—this is the way to go if you’re having a small (50 people or less) destination wedding in Las Vegas. There is a small room charge, but other than that, you pay the buffet price per guest. The tables are set, complete with real china, fresh linens and leather chairs. The buffet itself is over-the-top fancy, so you won’t need to spend money on centerpieces and decorations—not even for the tables.

I love the Wynn Buffet!!!! Last time we were there, they even had Rambutans. Yum!
I have been to the Wynn Buffet for breakfast. I still dream about their Eggs Benedict and Granola and fruit bar. A must for any Las Vegas traveler.

We went for lunch ($21) but were in line early, waiting for them to open for lunch, so they charged us the breakfast price instead ($17)!
How cool is that? It’s not as cool as the dessert room

don’t they do a champagne brunch somewhere? Maybe the Bellagio? I vaguely (and I mean..VAGUELY) remember going to one after a long night.

My FI is obsessed with Vegas buffets. He drags me to them whenever we go. Now I think I might be dragging him to the Wynn buffet next time we hit up Vegas! Thanks for the post!

The Wynn is THE best! I love that they have everything…even candy apples! We usually have late nights in Vegas and wake up just in time to pay for lunch and get the end of lunch and the beginning of the dinner menu! woohoo!
We are having our wedding reception at the Buffet in their Semi-Private rooms this weekend for 36 people and it came out to less than $1500 for everyone! I will post again to let you know how it goes…They had the BEST option for us and a very reasonable price…who doesnt love buffets??
