If you haven’t checked out Amy-Jo Tatum’s custom bridal gowns, then get on the train! She designs each gown to order, using imported silks and fabrics—and they’re simply gorgeous! From innovative to traditional, right-now to retro… her work really stands out as fresh and lovely.

She’s also eco-conscious, and offers the absolute sweetest designs in cotton eyelet. Perfect for summer brides, and just begging for you gals with a bit of a retro edge. Thank goodness I’m so broke—otherwise these would turn me into a two-dress bride in a heartbeat!

Amy-Jo believes “A wedding gown should be comfortable and beautifully lined so the woman wears it like a second skin… the whole component moving with her as if it is part of her body.” I say Amen to that! What bride would argue? You? I didn’t think so.
She also does adorable veils and flower girl dresses. Prices start at $1,000 for custom designs, and $500 for samples—perfect for some of you broke-ass brides out there who want a custom gown without the customary insane price tag!
Check out her blog, too: Bride Chic is a great wedding fashion resource.
Yay for independent designers making breakthroughs in the bridal world!
