About Mrs. Espresso

I’m finally “officially” back, and I’ve missed you all so much. I was hoping to start recapping sooner- but Mr. E and I just moved into a bungalow from 1916 and the wiring was a bit more complex than we anticipated. But enough with that- let’s get to the good stuff!

Marrying Mr. Espresso under the tall pines is still something I think back on everyday. I remember looking at him at our reception thinking: I can’t believe he’s my husband. I can’t believe this is our wedding happening all around us… I’m so happy.

Our wedding was perfect. We definitely had things happen that weren’t planned for: rain… an average temperature of 38 degrees… a rental company that refused us our dance floor and had us scrambling the day before to find another one- but honestly, it all happened for a reason, because I’ve never had more fun than the day of our wedding. So remember to embrace the imperfections- they could end up making things even better than planned.

I’m going to dive into more detail in all of my other posts- but I just wanted to give you a little sneak peek. These are the first images from our wedding I ever saw. My MOH’s dad took these with his camera phone and sent them to me the last day of our honeymoon. Some are a little fuzzy, but they capture the moment, and I love them.

Here we are: Mr. and Mrs. Espresso

My MOH and sister laughing it up.

Am I spitting seeds here? I didn’t serve seeds at our wedding… is my MOH curtsying?

Cutting the cake that our cupcake vendor surprised us with for free. (All of our vendors were incredibly kind and generous)

And then eating it- I love my Dad’s face in the background

Here’s our ringbearer and flowergirl enjoying their cupcakes out on the dance floor

And me on the dance floor during our money dance. It was so unbelievably cold that people were bringing me money… and their jackets. My friend here brought me a blanket out of her car :)

And the final shot…. my Dad at the end of the night: enjoying some wine in the warm B&B

Thanks for checking out my cell phone recap- now you have experienced the same first look that I did. More detailed posts and photos to follow :) I missed you all!

Happy Halloween!! I have been waiting and wishing for your posts Ms. Espresso–I feel like we have such similar taste and wedding wishes for family and loved ones to be all together from viewing your posts–I was SOOOOOO happy to have this glimpse this afternoon of the gorgeous Espressos and their beautiful day! (to be honest, I’m ashamed to say I’ve even been stalking Sandra Salisbury’s blog to see if I could get just a wee peek…shame…shame). Anyway, so glad to have you back, and blogging and CONGRATULATIONS!–and the pictures are wonderful and so fun and the mountains are so pretty and–and gush gush gush! You have TOTALLY made my weekend. :)

Chillingly beautiful (the chilling part because you look oh so happy and beautiful!) What a neat idea, to take pictures with the camera phone and then send them to the bride and groom. I’m going to note that for future use. So glad you are back!

@MrsDavis: That’s a good idea. I’ll probably do one once I’m done with all the wedding recaps
@Kat: Kat you are so funny! I always love getting your comments. I too have been stalking Sandra’s blog- she may have some up this week so yay!
@Mrs. Avocado: I thought so too. I’m going to make sure I do the same at all the future weddings I go to. It’s such a nice surprise when you haven’t seen any pictures yet
@AliCherri1: Thanks :)
