When I'm not on the go, I love to read, draw, shop, sleep and spend quality time with my fiancé, family and friends. We're long-distance planning for our "big fat brown wedding" in California and are excited to unite our Sri Lankan and Indian cultures and Buddhist and Hindu religions in a unique and modern way.
About Mrs. Margarita

I’m still waiting for professional pictures but we just got our photobooth pictures back and they are so much fun I had to share. We used Cheesy Photobooths based out of the LA/Orange County area. They were so easy to work with and I love what they had to offer. The gave us unlimited double prints for the event up to 4 hours, digital CD of all the photos, on-site attendant, free setup/breakdown in the LA area, a custom digital banner and a scrapbook and supplies. They also had this bonus where they were giving us 2 extra hours of service free of charge. They also offer a and a 12′ screen free of charge (for the first client to book) that date. Not to mention that all the booths have a digital display screen on the outside so people waiting can see the pictures as they are taken.

Our guests loved thephotobooth and we got some absolutely hilarious pictures to prove it. The only thing I would change would be to put it in a more prominent location since some of our guests didn’t even know the photobooth was there. Also, make sure you tell your family and bridal party to get their turn in the photobooth. My family and most of our groomsmen/bridesmaids didn’t find the time to make it over and take some pictures.

Me and the hubs:

Our friends managed to fit their entire table in that small booth (sorry for the glare off the scrapbook):

Lots of of hilarious shenanigans

How can brides better spread the word about things like the photobooth (or other events/activities guests might not know about) to their guests?

Our photobooth was right by the escort card table so people saw it right away. But we did mention it in our programs and the bandleader made announcements throughout the night. Of course, some people still did not go in. Not sure why. We set aside the first hour for our wedding party to take pictures, that worked out well to get the guestbook started. :)

tell the mc/dj to announce the photobooth. or have someone tell the guests when they are being led to their table.

I put a note on the back of the escort cards telling people to visit the photo booth. It was in a pretty prominent spot though, so no one could miss it. The DJ also made announcement. We also had a few people who didn’t go either. so weird. it is the funnest thing ever

We are considering booking them for our wedding too. They seemed to have the best prices with all the stuff they include. Was the booth big enough to fit all those people? I thought it could only fit 4 people max. The scrapbook looks awesome!

Our guests could not get enough of the photobooth. We had guests make a scrapbook of their pictures and it made a very memorable keepsake. We used Rockstarphotobooth.com.
We chose them because the quality of the pictures were top notch, it was a good price, and we liked their online gallery. With the online gallery, we were able to share all the pics from the booth with all our guests.

We also used cheesy photobooth. They were great! After the wedding, my hubby and i opened up our book and took a look at the pictures. It was so fun!! And after a year of marriage we still have a great time looking at our photobooth guestbook.

since we are using the photo booth pictures as ‘favors’, i plan on buying 4×6 magnetic photo frames: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=445656&cm_mmc=Froogle-_-Shopping%20Comp-_-Datafeed-_-Office%20Supplies
and putting one at each seat. i will make an insert thanking people and telling them to make sure they visit the photo booth. i am still trying to figure out wording for the card, so if anyone has any ideas, i’d love to hear them!

Our photographer is setting up a photobooth that will actually have a professional taking the pictures! We’re going to mail them with the thank you cards. The one piece of advice she has is to put the photobooth near the bar, since that’s a high-traffic area and your guests will likely be feeling a little more adventurous (or tipsy…) :)

I love it, and i am doing something similar for our wedding. Rather than have a photobooth set up (I can’t find one for less than $2000 and I just can’t afford it), we are going to have someone man a table and take digital pics of everyone, print them out and have a scrapbook there to serve as a guestbook. One of my BF/BM is taking photography classes in college so she knows quite a few good photographers. We are going to ask one or two of them to take pics, and she has a photo printer that you insert the memory card and it prints right there. We will have a table set up with a scrapbook and markers, stickers, everything you can imagine to decorate. I am going to put it on our website that it will be there, as well as have announcements made (thanks for the idea!) and try to remind everyone that we are doing this in lieu of having a traditional guestbook, so hopefully everyone will participate. And I love the idea of putting it by the bar Wiglet

We used picture this! photobooths (http://picturethisphotoboothwi.com/) and our photos and photo guestbook turned out AMAZINGLY.

To encourage guests to use the photobooth, we talked it up in the weeks before the wedding to family to spread the word. We also put a note about visiting the photobooth and the website where we were posting our pictures (seeyouthen.com) on our menus, which were placed at each place setting.

We used PhotoBoothNOW.com

They were at my cousins wedding and did a great job.

Christopher was awesome to work with. We were able to get some frames for the prints as thank you gifts from them that looked amazing.
