My dress!

Champ… if you’re taking a break from Fantasy Football or video games to browse Weddingbee, I ask you stop reading. Oh, and if you’re reading Weddingbee, that probably means you have some time to put away that laundry of yours I folded last week. Xo.

My dress is finally here in all its champagne goodness!

I’m sooo glad I ordered the ivory lace overlay because the contrast is perrrrfect. I can’t wait to get to work with my seamstress!

When I picked up the package and brought it home, I had to try it on. Even though I had fun prancing around in our apartment, it’s not as fun when you’re by yourself!! Naturally I want to share my excitement with my best friend, but something tells me he would be a little upset if I showed him my dress. Maybe I’ll go to a neighbors place and try it on—I just want to share my excitement!

What did you do when you got your dress? Were you able to try it on for someone or were you alone?

I just got a call that it came in yesterday, 1.5 months early!! I havent been able to make the one hour trip to go to the bridal salon just yet, but I feel your enthusiasm!

My dress is in, but I have to fly from Denver to New Orleans before I can see it - it’s killing me knowing where it is but not being able to go visit!

I love that you pranced around in your dress! I kept mine at the shop until a few days before the wedding… knowing me- I would have ran into a pitcher of Kool- Aid in it… and I haven’t had Kool- Aid in the house since I was 7

Love it!!! I just got the call yesterday that my dress came in! My schedule doesn’t allow me to pick it up for another week, but you bet your bottom I’ll be prancing all over the house. I’ll just have to shut my puppy away, black hair and a white dress, not a good combination.
