Trick or Treat: Wedding Edition

October 31st, 2008 @ 12:06 pm by Mrs. Deviled Egg

It’s Halloween, so why not have a little fun with some wedding tricks and treats!

OK. All I have for you today is tricks!

Yep, that’s the good old “Help Me” on the bottom of the groom’s shoes. Best executed in a church wedding where kneeling is involved, this trick gets the guests laughing while leaving the couple clueless. Note to self: Check the bottom of Mr. DE’s shoes before the ceremony.

Here are some tricks caught on video for your enjoyment!

Vow Prank

I guess that’s one way to lighten the mood.

Cake Prank

Do you think that was a fake cake? I sure hope so!

Dance Prank

A classic. This couple executed this perfectly and they looked like they had a great time while they were at it. I’m sure this made for a wedding that family and friends are still talking about.

Garter Prank #1

Oops! Ha! Ha! I bet these guests are still talking about this one, too. Poor guy.

And finally…

Garter Prank #2

YUCK! And that’s all I have to say about that!

So, what do you think about wedding pranks? How would you feel if someone tricked you during your wedding day? Are any of you going to attempt to pull off a prank and surprise your guests?

These are hilarious!!! I took part in a wedding prank as a bridesmaid once. The groom asked me to get a pair of red obnoxious panties, which he put in his tux pocket. When he was taking the garter off of the friend’s dress, he pulled the fake red panties out as if he had taken off her underwear! It was pretty funny. I hope thye don’t get me back though! ;)

I should mention that the friend was the bride, not a guest!
