Hey guys,

This is a quick note from Mrs. Bee in the Philippines!  I’ve received a couple emails from readers about ads on Weddingbee, so I thought I’d address it in a post.

The Google ads that appear on the site are actually automatically generated by Google, often based on the content of blog posts.  The ads appear automatically, although we review them periodically to ban political advocacy ads (for example, we regularly ban ads promoting the presidential race).

We’ve banned Prop 8 ads as well, although some have been slipping through.  We’re looking into the cause of this, and are in touch with our Google Ad rep.  We’ll keep you posted!
