Mrs. Taffy's Picture
Mrs. Taffy, Ann Arbor Age and Occupation: 28, Color and Materials Designer Fiance's Age and Occupation: 29, Automotive Designer Engagement Date: May 9, 2008 Wedding Date: May 2009 Blogging Since: September 14, 2008 Venue: University of Michigan Union About Me: I’m a girl who is crazy about Mr. Taffy, sewing, dancing, almost all types of sweets, and our cute pet canaries. I dislike touching fuzzy fabric of any kind, eating somewhat squishy food, and Michigan winters. Mr. Taffy and I are having a blast planning our Ann Arbor wedding, and cannot wait to share our day with friends and family.
About Mrs. Taffy

Kaylie looked stunning on her wedding day! This post is all about her bridal details. Although this was a Halloween wedding, Kaylie chose a traditional look with a vintage twist. (Although she had a few spooky details!) I made her bird cage veil! She really loved it, which made me very happy.

Kaylie ordered her awesome dress from Torrid. I took a “spooky” shot of the dress before she put it on. I love the skeleton decoration that was in their bedroom window!

Kaylie’s rings were her great grandmother’s, and went perfectly with her vintage style. Her parents also surprised her by giving her her great grandmother’s handkerchief. I love that it is bright pink; it really suits Kaylie’s style!

Kaylie’s boo-quet was inspired by fall colors. It was lovely!

Kaylie did her nails black with little skulls! I loved seeing a bride with black nail polish.

Here she is after signing the marriage license:

Here she is with the ring bearer, dressed as Yogurt from Space Balls. If you look in the background, you can see that Wolfman Mac, the officiant, has snuck into the picture!

Next up: The guests crazy costumes, and all the spooky wedding details!

@Miss Champagne:

Those are glue on nails! I saw those exact ones at Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart (which I think is just Canadian?)
Anyway, they are $12 or $13 and really cute!
They also have ones that look like a french manicure with a little pink flower but when you look close the “flower” is actually a little skull!
