So beautiful! I think I’m feeling you on the photographer comment, we only have ONE photo of us looking at the camera…. but I’m still anxious to see your remaining pictures!

What a beautiful picture! I’m so sorry the others didn’t come out great. Ya know, I once went to a wedding where the best pictures were taken by the wife of a distant cousin on her little point and shoot. They were WAY better than the ones taken by the prof. I wonder if your families have snapshots that you can look through? I’d bet you can get another handful that way.

I’m so sorry that your photos didn’t come out great. However, I am grateful that I’m not alone. Our photog did a HORRIBLE job (ie missed our first kiss, shots with bridal party are crooked, nothing is centered, very few closeups, not a single shot of the groom by himself, etc.). Our package included 250 adjusted shots and I had trouble getting to 200 that I liked at all.

Oh Shortie — I am so sad for you! I’m hoping Miss Cheese is right, someone else must have some good photos — you and Mr. are freakin’ hot, so you’ve got to look gorgeous in some of the photos that friends and family took!

I feel you on the bad prof. photos thing:-/ we struggled to find ONE decent photo worthy of enlargement to use our pictage credit on.
I agree with all the other people who suggested asking to see the pictures all your guests took- we did a flickr photo-sharing thing and handed out the cards at the reception, the results of that definitely help me feel not so crappy about all the photos that are lacking from the “real” photog:-/ 3 months past and i get more and more upset everytime i look at the pictures as I’m reminded how disappointing they are- I hope you find some more that you like!
I went to a wedding of two friends a few ago and they had a bad experience with their photographer, too! I don’t know who they hired, but he missed the ceremony altogether! They called him about 20 minutes before and he told them he was about two hours away. His excuse for not being there? He “forgot”. Luckily, there were lots of people with lots of cameras there taking shots so they would have something. The pro eventually turned up just in time for the reception and ended up making the whole bridal party late for dinner.
On a bright note, you did a wonderful job with the post processing! I hope you can rescue even more photos from your day!

if you haven’t preserved your dress and want to do some “day after” type shots….i’d be totally up for shooting you two!
