Luckily, after I had gotten cake down my dress, it was time to change into a new one–my qipao! My qipao was my 3rd outfit of the night (I wore my white wedding gown and qua before). Right after I got changed, we had our parent dances. Since I’m not one to be the center of attention, we opted to have our father-daughter and mother-son dances at the same time.
I love Daddy Toucan.

Mr. Toucan told me later that his mom grabbed the back of his vest and just yanked! Now there’s one graceful dip! They had a good laugh about it after…
I’m glad we chose to do the parent dances simultaneously–Mr. Toucan and MIL Toucan certainly took the attention off of us for awhile! Is anyone else planning on doing their parent dances this way?
