Oh my god, I love pearls. In general I do not wear jewelry, and I think gems are not my style - but of course I make an exception for pearls.

I was terribly lucky in that my mother called me about two weeks before my wedding and said, “I’ve got this heirloom pearl ring from your namesakes on my side of the family, would you be at all interested in wearing it for the wedding? Or would that totally ruin your aesthetic for the day?”

These are so gorgeous! Great finds. I’m totally a pearl girl. I love how classic they are and they look great when you’re all dressed up or just with jeans and a sweater. I’d love to wear pearls as a bride.

I used to not like pearls at all. Then when I was looking for jewelry to go with my dress, I realized that pearls looked the best. And now they’re my favorite! Crazy how tastes change.
