I was but a young newbee when Mr. Bee and I got married, and I didn’t really know much about weddings at the time. But now I’ve learned so much just by running Weddingbee! The industry has also transformed since we got married almost four years ago, so I’m always talking about how I want to renew our vows. That’s how I started thinking about this ”My Dream Vendors” post.
Deciding which vendors I’d want to use is very difficult, because I have so many favorites! And to be fair, I excluded any vendors we used for our first wedding. This is what I’ve come up with so far!
1. Stationery - I love Mr. Boddington’s Studio, Wiley Valentine, Grapevine Weddings, and Kenzie Kate. I think the venue we choose (somewhere outdoor, rustic, and casual) will probably dictate who we work with.

2. Wedding Planner - Jo Gartin. I love her book and I love her style!

3. Wedding Dress Designer - I wore a very traditional, a-line Anne Barge gown, and this time around I’d definitely go for something more romantic and ethereal a la Claire Pettibone or Angel Sanchez.
4. Floral Designer - To go along with my dress and venue, I’d like a floral designer with a very organic, natural style along the lines of Ariella Chezar or Livia Cetti of The Green Vase. I also love what Nancy Liu Chin did with Mrs. Gummi Bear’s flowers, as well as Mrs. Peacock’s flowers by Petal Play Design.

If I were to go in the opposite direction and do something bold, I’d definitely book Ovando. I pass by their shop almost every day and love their dramatic arrangements.
5. Cake - A decked out dessert bar by the infinitely talented Jin Patisserie.

6. Decor/Food - This is a little over the top, but if money were no object, I’d want a raw bar on one of Okamoto Studio’s amazing ice sculptures!

7. Makeup - Jessica Lee of Hair Day no doubt! She performs miracles!
8. Photographer - This was really the toughest decision of all, and one that constantly changes because there are so so many incredible photographers out there! But lately I’ve really been digging the work of Anna Kuperberg and Jesh de Rox. They’d make a great team, no?

9. Videographer - Is it too greedy to have three?
I’d hire Still Motion in a heartbeat because I adore their work. In fact I plan on doing a TTD session with them - I don’t have a dress, location, or time, but I’ve talked to them and absolutely will do one some day soon!
I also love the Super 8 work of Wes Jones, and what Elysium Productions did at Gary Fong’s gorgeous nuptials. (I hope Gary doesn’t mind that I borrowed the highlights video below! You can see the full 30 minute video on his blog.)
I think Mr. Bee’s dream vow renewal would be something like this: a backyard barbecue and a photographer.
So… who are some of your dream vendors?
