Details - Part Three

November 19th, 2008 @ 9:28 am by Mrs. Hydrangea

As promised, the last bit of details before the final celebration!*All photos credit to Perez Photography

Last minute I decided to make Bride and Groom signs to be placed at our spots at the table. We wanted to sit right in the middle of the table facing out to everyone who was there, and not to the dance floor. It gave those few minutes, between everyone visiting us to say hello, to really soak in all of the people that came together that night. :)

One more shot of the food station signs.

The hallway that led to the pre-function area and ballroom was lined with these vases. At the end of the hallway, right before the entrance, there were white curtains that were tied with beautiful floral arrangements a la Bella Flora.

My 3″x3″ escort cards.

The sign-in table next to the escort card table.

Our gifts. :) I just love the sculpture on the wall. It makes this picture just so much more interesting.

Mr. H knew from day one that he wanted to have a cigar roller at our event. We ended up using Sabino Sotelo with d’Havana Cigars.

The yummy Paciugo cart that we had at the reception. Mr. H and I snuck out to get some before they ran out, and Mr. H was bummed he never got to eat any of his because we got so sidetracked from the cart to our table that his had melted. :(

Yes, I even customized the cups for the gelato. I couldn’t resist - and, while I thought we’d have plenty extras, we didn’t have many at all!

Our favors for the end of the night. Vases of baby’s breath. I had intially started with this idea for the escort cards, but they were too big for our guests to carry around during cocktail hour. Many guests had left before these were all in place, and many just walked right by, so we had about 100 of these babies to transport back to my parents’ house the next day. Next to all of them was a Thank You sign from the two of us.

Up next? Let’s get the party started!

I have to admit, I’ve become a huge fan of the Perez Photography blog because of you! I live in Fort Worth, so its cool to see local brides and their ideas. Your pictures make me want to go to the W Hotel for my bachelorette party!

I think all of your hard work absolutely paid off :)

Prettiest gift table I have ever seen. So sad that all of your guests didn’t take advantage of the favors. You can always donate some to the Avocado household to spice up our sad decor a little bit :)

Mrs Hydrangea - I LOVE your monogram and all of your signage! Did you design everything on your own?

I’m looking for monogram ideas currently (as well as reception signage) and was wondering about yours!

My email is kristy.garvey at gmail.com
