I recently turned thirty (which I was actually excited about!). Two of my sisters decided to surprise me by flying to Chicago for the weekend! Seeing them was really a wonderful present. One sister is a student in Boston, and the other lives in Dallas, so they hadn’t seen each other in a long time either.
We went for burgers and shopping and tea and crafty-ogling. My sisters flying in also gave me the wonderful opportunity of being able to ask them to be my Matron and Maid of Honor in person! I thought I was going to have to call them, which is not nearly as special!
My family are all big pack-rats. If anything special happens, we ALWAYS keep a memento. Our Dad actually has a whole bookshelf full of little gifts we have given him, old tickets, programs, model airplanes… he calls it his Treasure. SO, I definitely wanted to give them both a little something to remember the moment by (not that this is a huge life moment by any means, but it is special enough for a lil card.) 
You see the front of the card above and then I included a poem on the back about sisters:
Totally cheesytown, but I was feelin’ cheesy, so the poem was appropriate. I am very lucky to have such wonderful sisters.
Do you have a sister for a bridesmaid?
sure do. One sister and six girls close enough to call them sister- or sista sista! 
You are blessed to have such love in your party! Congrats beyond your engagement, beyond your BEEing Miss Snapdragon, beyond turning thirty- CONGRATS for being someone who can exemlpify such love in her life! CHEERS! (i’m all for celebrating the things that make each of us wonderful….who am I kidding? I’m all for CELEBRATING. period.) I’m so excited to keep reading more about how your family of wonders is included in your very special day!!! :0)

My sister is my maid of honor We are only 14 months apart and very close. My bridesmaid is Mr. Spring Roll’s sister, who I am also very close with.
I also have two sisters, and could not imagine choosing between the two of them. I’m the first to get married so I guess they’ll be my “Maids of Honor”!

my sister is going to be a bridesmaid, would have been my MOH but we’re only doing bridesmaids and groomsmen. We’re also leaning strongly to have my brother as the officiant, since we can get him ordained online. FH’s niece and nephew will be flower girl and ring bearer, along with my cousin who will also be a flower girl. I would absolutely love to have his sister do our photography, but I don’t want her to miss out on the actual wedding. She is going to do some engagement shoots for us definitely tho!
My sister is also my MOH! We are 5 yrs apart but still BFF!
I have two sisters in law. One joined our insane family just a few years ago, and shes great. The other I always refer to as my sister because she’s been around since I was 3 years old (shes married to my bro who is 16 years my senior). I don’t remember time before Debbie. I asked them both to stand up with me.
My only sister was one of my bridesmaids, a soloist at the wedding ceremony, and my coordinator! YIKES! Luckily my sister in a wedding coordinator so it was natural for her to multi-task. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to do it!!
My baby sister is going to be my MOH. Though, at 23 she’s not really a baby anymore! She’s completely awesome and I can’t imagine having anyone else there. Plus, it saves me from having to choose between my best friends

Yes, my sister is my maid of honor. She’s also designing our invites, and singing at the ceremony! She has her work cut out for her!
My FSIL is going to be my MOH and my fiance’s cousin will be one of my bridesmaids…we’re very close. Unfortunately, I’m not close with either of my own sisters, though they will be guests at our wedding.
