La valse d amelie!
<3
We haven’t decided yet, but I think ours will be a hymn, “For the Beauty of the Earth.”
I have been waiting for soooo long to walk down to the traditional Wedding March!
I am walking down to “When I First Saw You”…Jamie Foxx sang it on the DreamGirls movie
I’m walking down the aisle to “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds Five
Doing the traditional route: Canon in D.
Love those runners! They’d be perfect to cover up the (hideous) carpet at our location.
The Beatles’ “In my life.” One of these beautiful runners would be the perfect addition!
Well, after much discussion I have decided on the traditional Wedding March. He would have been happy walking down the isle to the Guitar Hero Sound Track (seriously)! Oye!!
Im walking down to Cannon. My little brother will be playing it on the piano as I walk down. ![]()

omigosh… PLEASE PLEASE pick me. I just begged Mrs. Cookie to help me make an aisle runner because the carpet in our chapel is awful… pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!
I’m walking down the aisle to Canon in D. It’s a classic and Mr. Champ loves the song.
“Save the best for last” by Vanessa Williams. My FI and I will have been together for 10 years and I will be 40 on my wedding day!
I will be walking down to For a moment like this kelly clarkson, sung by a friend who sings beautifully.
Joyful Joyful, rock style! It’s the song my mom and sister both used as their recessionals: I’m mixing it up a little bit!
my fiance is a traditionalist, so we’ll be wedding march-ing down the aisle - hopefully on one of these gorgeous custom runners! fingers crossed!
the instrumental version of “you’re beautiful” because even though i’m not a big fan of the song, the instrumental alone is beautiful!
I’m going traditional too… the traditional wedding march.
I am crossing all my fingers and toes that I win this one… the one compromise that my FI and I made about our wedding location is that, while we love the location, and the outside of the chapel is adorable, the inside is pretty bad! Its very outdated… the carpet is sea green and the chapel pews are teal. Yes, I said teal.
So I hope I win the aisle runner to cover it up a bit!!!!!!!!!!
Ooh awesome contest! Since I was a little girl I have always loved classical music and I am such a traditionalist (Is that even a word? Oh well, LOL.) I will be marching to Ave Maria or Canon in D, we have not made the final decision yet.
Their runners are absolutely gorgeous! I would feel so lucky to be able to walk to my future husband on one!
I’ve asked one of my close friends (who is a musician) to write some simple acoustic music for me to walk down the aisle to. Having one of my best friends playing at our wedding will make it even more special…
Not 100% sure yet, but I am thinking an instrumental version of Unchained Melody!
the aisle runners are BEAUTIFUL! i need one!:)
i will be walking down the aisle to canon in d
I’ll Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab… Some people might think it’s morbid but we think it’s sweet ![]()
Fade Into You by Mazzy Star
ooooh LOVE their runners! This would be amazing for our Cape Cod wedding!
Canon in D, I fell in love with that song when we learned to play it in orchestra, it’s so simple and beautiful.
Since we are doing the church thing are choices are limited, plus in my wedding dreams it was alway Canon in D play.
Probably Handel’s Water Music (Air) — still debating with the family though.
still deciding, but it might be Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles…..if i don’t win this i’m going to attempt making one-eek!
Due to my religion, no instruments or music is allowed when I walk down the aisle.
Only the cantor singing a church hymn. I was devastated when I found this out. Though I know that seeing my fiance will make me forget that I don’t have fairtale music playing!
PS, the aisle runners are amazing! Our guests would still be thinking about that instead of the lack of music. ![]()
We actually just discussed this last night, top choice so far is an instrumental version of unchained melody.
I will be walking down the aisle to “If I Should Fall Behind” by Bruce Springsteen. The song means a lot because of the theme of commitment but also because Bruce has been my favorite artist since I can remember. ![]()
Forrest Gump Theme. It’s my dad’s fav move and mine, too! We’ve watched together about a 100 times! Would love a runner!
the runners look fantastic and would be perfect for our wedding! our song will be para tu amor by juanes - my fiance is colombian and when we first started dating he wrote down the words and gave them to me, so now although our ceremony will be in english this will be the song that plays because i want it to speak to him and this song is so special to us
Oh, I love these runners so much!
We have a grand piano in the ballroom and have hired a DJ that’s also a concert pianist (we really lucked out!). I’m walking down the aisle to a piano version of “Something in the Way She Moves” by James Taylor. On one of our first dates, this song was playing and my FH looked over at me and said “Hey, I think he’s talking about you.” So, it stuck (and so did he).
We’re walking back down the aisle as husband and wife to the Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” for 2 reasons — 1) My grandma always said it to me as a kid. 2) “Love Actually” is one of our favorite movies. (Ahh, if my FH only knew I was blabbing that on Wedding Bee!)
I’m walking down the aisle to Forever by the Beach Boys. I love the lyrics and how it’s like I’m talking to my groom.
We will be walking down the isle to ‘Eloi’ by Klaus Badelt. The song is from the score of the 2002 remake of The Time Machine.
OR, if we can afford it, we will have a Canadian group called L’Ensemble Cercamon sing ‘Gauch ai car esper d’amor” off their album Blau.
Probably the traditional wedding march, but I’ve also fantasized about Sleep Suites 1-3 from Andy Creeggan’s ‘Andiwork’ album or possibly “Tonight, Tonight” by the Smashing Pumpkins. ![]()

Mr. HC is writing a tune for me to walk down the aisle to, I think . . . . I so so so love these aisle runners!
@Kristin: That’s awesome! Mr. HC and I are doing our first dance to Springsteen’s Drive All Night.
These are fabulous! When Did You Fall in Love with Me by Chris Rice.
I haven’t decided. Either the traditional wedding march played by strings, or the acoustic version of our first dance song– Look After You by the Fray
Haven’t decided what I am walking down the aisle to, but the Mr. wants a cello.
These are so pretty!!
I’m set on walking down to an acapella choral arrangement of the scripture Song of Solomon 8:6 “Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm. For love is strong as death. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.”
We haven’t gotten that far in our planning yet, but the isle runner would be a nice addition to the church.
If my fiance doesn’t get his act in gear we won’t be having ANY music. GAH! I’ve given him the job of finding a classical guitarist. I’ll be walking to Canon, I love traditional! I also LOVE these Aisle runners. Pick me, pick me!!
It’s not 100% decided but we are thinking, “Trumpet Voluntary” by Henry Purchell
I’m walking down the aisle to the traditional wedding march. I love the idea that this song is played during so many other brides’ walks down the aisle toward their future husbands. It’s so romantic to me!!!
I think it’s going to have to be cannon in D even though it is cliche. To me that song always gets me a little emotional and thinking about weddings. I know that walking down the aisle to it will make the whole ceremony that much more “real” to me and get my emotions going in that moment.
Bach’s Cello Suite in G major…he played it for me on our second date!
we haven’t decided yet, but most likely the traditional wedding march.
So far I have two on my short list– the theme from “October Sky” and “Heavenly Day” by Patti Griffin.
Just decided to walk down to Sade’s, “By Your Side.” We also just realized that we’ll need a runner for our jazz club and would love for it to pop in royal purple.
Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 by Hector Villa-Lobos is currently our top contender.
I’ll be walking to Somewhere Over the Rainbow played by an acoustic guitarist. These aisle runners are GORGEOUS!!!
Canon in D by a string quartet. I bet I will cry
I’d love to have one of these aisle runners!!!!
I am walking down the aisle to a song that my fiance (normally not a musical guy!) wrote for me on the guitar for our 1 year anniversary. It is a guitar song, but will be played on a solo violin. I can’t wait! ![]()
I’m walking down to “Con Te Partiro” by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. The very first night we met, my fiance mentioned that he was a big fan of Sarah Brightman, and we ended up talking about her and Andrea Bocelli all night. This song in particular was his (and now my) favorite! Although some people think of it as a sad song (it is “Time to Say Goodbye” in English), I can only think of it in a happy context and sort of “saying goodbye to our old life apart” and now “hello to our new life together!”
Undecided at present but we are considering Yann Tiersen music and Sarah Harmer.
Simply Red’s ‘Love Fire’
When I think about my wedding it is the moment when that song starts to play is what I picture.
I am walking down to the song that was on when my fiancee proposed to me. It’s an Indian song called Tere Bina from the movie Guru and basically says that life is incomplete without you.
Today, by Joshua Radin. Just like Ellen and Portia, only I’ll be walking down the isle to my wonderful man.
I cried when I watched their wedding video, and the lyrics simply talk about meeting their love “today” making you feel like today is the only day.
I can imagine that that song gives me the same feelings as I feel when I see Andrew.
Canon in D (Pachelbel)
It’s so beautiful and traditional, and I LOVE these runners! I have been dreaming of having one.
we haven’t decided yet for sure - music is extremely important to us - but we’re thinking either:
1 - Lover’s Spit by Broken Social Scene (the first part of the song looped where it’s just the instrumental)
2 - New Slang by The Shins (same deal as above - first part of the song looped)
@laura - My fiance and I love that Death Cab song!! i don’t think it’s morbid at all either…I think it’s really very sweet ![]()
A custom composed song by his best friend, played on the acoustic guitar.
I’m going to walk down with “Trumpet Voluntary” played by a real trumpet (hopefully).
My goodfriend and husband of one of my bridesmaids is playing the Prince of Denmark’s March. But, he might be himself and surprise me with the theme to Rocky. ![]()
hmmm… we haven’t quite gotten that far yet, but these runners are to die for! It would definetally help me get motivated to do more ceremony planning ![]()
As a surprise to my fiancé, I will be walking to “Romeo and Juliet” by Tchaikovsky. I hope that I can time it so that he sees my face first as the Love Theme begins. (You know it even if you don’t think you do— look it up! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VMCiewc7mE&feature=related )
I’m a flute player, so I’m all “Cannon in D”‘d out after playing it at so many weddings! As a result, I’m walking down the isle to Handel’s Passacaglia played on handbells
Unfortunately, like BeachBride, the carpet at our church is a faded red…yuck.
Canon D.. I listen to it on my Ipod to try to de-sensitive myself to it!
I love that first runner
thinking of walking down the aisle to landon pigg’s Coffee Shop…such a cute song!!! although i think i’ve gotta cut it off somehow before he reaches the lyrics about the coffee shop cuz then it’d just be weird lol.
Canon D. Its so beautiful. I’ll walk down to beautiful music and a gorgeous aisle runner if I win.
This was a long discussion we had a few nights ago. I didn’t want to walk down the aisle to “dun, dun, dun, dun” but Mr. H really wanted me to. He’s always pictured looking up when that song starts and seeing the woman he’s going to spend the rest of his life with. It was so sweet when he explained it that I’m happily walking down the aisle to “dun, dun, dun, dun”.
I will be walking down the aisle to the traditional wedding march played by a live harpist. When I first heard it, it gave me the CHILLS!
We are using Canon in D! I played this song on the piano in my last piano recital when I was younger and have loved it ever since. I can’t imagine a more perfect song that captures the emotion of coming down the aisle!
I haven’t decided yet. But how cool would it be to walk down the aisle to Aerosmith’s “Walk this Way” (giggle-giggle!)
Canon in D played by our harpist. She has it on her website and I cannot listen to it without crying.
the song we are going will be Lost in this moment by Big and Rich and it will be played by a string quartet.
I love the aisle runner!!! please pick me
My fiance and I are both geeks so it will be an orchestral version of some video game music. Probably something from Legend of Zelda.
Stunning runners!
I LOOOOVE “Friends” and fell in love with Monica & Chandler’s wedding.. so I will be walking down the aisle to my cousin playing “My Love” by Paul McCartney on his acoustic guitar.. I hope to have him play it like this awesome guitarist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UelFC0WoQLA
I never really dreamed about my wedding as a little girl, but the one thing I always knew was that I would walk down the aisle to Cannon in D. Even when I would hear it at piano recitals as a kid I always thought of weddings.
Stunning runner!
I LOOOOVE “Friends” and fell in love with Monica & Chandler’s wedding.. So I will be walking down the aisle to my cousin playing “My Love” by Paul McCartney on his acoustic guitar…
Here’s how I hope he plays it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UelFC0WoQLA
Stunning runners!
I LOOOOVE “Friends” and fell in love with Monica & Chandler’s wedding, so I will be walking down the aisle to my cousin playing “My Love” by Paul McCartney on his acoustic guitar!!!
the instrumental to a song the FH is making just for the wedding. of course, it will be a surprise. i won’t be able to hear it until the day of.
The old fashioned Canon D…we’re getting married in a historic catholic church, so the traditional song feels right!
Bless the Broken Road, on violin. Traditional sounding, personal meaning. =) ooh - I am loving someone above said they’ll be walking to Seasons of Love - I think maybe we’ll exit to that!
i have to say that I needed it to be Canon in D. It’s the song that i tear up at everytime I hear it.
I’m doing “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens, which was also my parents’ first dance song. And it’s a traditional church hymn!
I wanted a runner so badly but what with losing my job and all we had to cut it from our budget (along with Christmas this year…sniff sniff…okay enough moping)
Appalachian Spring–written by Aaron Copeland for a Martha Graham ballet in the 40s. I’m using the “Simple Gifts” section
These are SO pretty! I def. need one too, or I’ll be catching my tulle on the brick path all the way down the aisle.
Canon in D, because I think it would be unfair of me to ask my string quartet to learn a Sigur Ros song
Oh well. As long as they’re willing to learn “Don’t Stop Believing” for the recessional, hee hee!
Bombay Theme by A.R. Rahman - The flute piece in it is beautiful.
“Only Time” by Enya. My future Mr. Bee and I briefly dated 8 years ago while in college. After we stopped dating, because time wasn’t in our favor, years flew by without any contact between the two of us. Then 6 years later, we were reunited through a stroke of luck! The song feels extremely appropriate.
possibly traditional wedding march. But our first dance is to a beatles song, so it is possible I might use “something in the way.” it is tres romantique and original!
“Dawn” from the Pride & Prejudice movie - I love the airy, light, whimsical sound of it…perfect for our wedding.
Not completely decided yet, but learning toward Canon. (Although I’m tempted by “How Beautiful” because when my mom used it in her ceremony, I totally teared up. )
We are being super traditional and doing the wedding march. I have waited my whole life to find the perfect guy to walk down the aisle to with that in the background!
My fiance is composing a song to play while I walk down the aisle. It will incorporate the music he composed and had playing while he proposed. I’m so excited to hear how it turns out!
I am walking down the aisle to my sister singing Ave Maria, and her boyfriend on the guitar…I CANNOT WAIT to hear it! I love incorporating my family into our special day!
This will sound completely nuts to those of you who have control over every aspect of your wedding, but I won’t know until my pops and I walk down the aisle! His accordion teacher will be playing and they are picking the song. It will be a surprise! We’re getting married in an old spanish chapel and a custom runner would look gorgeous in it!!
I’ll be walking down the aisle to Etta James’ “At Last,” which will be a surprise to my fiance!
we plan to have a friend sing “we are man and wife” by michelle featherstone.
We are looking to have a dear friend of ours play an acoustic instrumental version of Colbie Caillat’s Bubbly. It’s a beautiful song instrumentally and my fiancé has loved it since it came out because apparently I crinkle my nose at him when I’m joking around or being flirty, which is something he fell in love with the first day we met.
Elvis Presley’s .. Can’t Help Falling in Love ![]()
My 7 year old brother is going to play Canon in D and record it (he is also the ring bearer). I know my tears will be a-flowin’!
I’ll be coming down to an instrumental version of “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It was one of my favorite movies to watch with my daddy when I was little, and we both have a major sweet tooth, so it’s perfect!
Cannon in D. I know it’s overused, but there is a reason that some things are considered classic!
God Bless the Broken Road. I love it and has meaning for us which makes it even better!
The Swan, played by a great cellist friend and teacher of mine.
Please pick me! An aisle runner (for out outside, grassy wedding) was my last request, but it’s going to break the budget, so no aisle runner if I don’t win this! So please pick me!
“First Day of My Life” by Bright Eyes, but played by a string quartet of our closest friends.
Those runners are BEAUTIFUL!
the instrumental of “stand by me”. i heard it on the debeers commercial. i’ve always loved the commercial (the one where the couple passes the older couple as they’re walking in the park).
We’re hiring a student cellist to perform during our ceremony…. but I have no idea what I will ask him/her to play! I have a hunch my father will prefer something traditional to walk me down the aisle to…. but I’m still open to ideas!
I’m walking down to Bittersweet Symphony by The verve. It will be the instrumental version and hopefully the best couple minutes of my life! =)
The aisle runners are so beautiful! I am dying to get one but didn’t budget for one in the beginning and now I don’t think I will be able to have one. =/ Boo.
Canon in D (Pachelbel) these are Gorgeousssssssssssss!!!
Pachelbel’s Canon in D! I’m a traditionalist, what can I say.
Those are beautiful! We will be walking down the aisle to the Prelude from Bach’s Cello Suite #1. It’s the piece that Yo-Yo Ma played in the West Wing episode “Noel”.
I’m a big fan of the movie Love Actually. There’s a scene when Keira Knightley is getting married and her husband surprises her during the ceremony with an arrangement of “All You Need is Love” by The Beatles. I’ve wanted to walk down the aisle to that song ever since I saw that!
I will be walking down the aisle to From this Moment On (originally by Shania Twain) but our version will be by the O’Neill brothers. If you haven’t heard it, listen to it. It’s beautiful!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Pick me. These are AMAZING!
oh my goodness…these are gorgeous!
I’m walking down to a modern pop rendition of Canon in D called “Lullaby” by a Brit pop group of leggy musicians. Our wedding theme is modern vintage…all things old & classic…with a modern twist….so, it was perfect.
Here’s a link to it on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fORujr_1o8
The song that will play when we are pronounced husband & wife is a nod to my insane love of 80s movies. A classic Kim Cattrall hit….Mannequin. You guessed it, Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”. I’m thinking of pausing at the end a la the movie. Might have to work that one last minute.
Cannon in D– the song that makes me tear up at every wedding–it just feels like a wedding when I hear it. Can’t wait for it to be my own wedding! yeah!
Love these! Didn’t know I wanted one until I saw them and now I’m obsessed. Probably Canon in D for me.
A lovely and romantic instrumental version of La Bacarolle, by Offenbach, will be taking me down the aisle… it makes me feel like I am in a dream!
“Here and Now” by Luther Vandross. My mom walked down the aisle to it and I want to set a tradition!
the traditional “here comes the bride”. we thought about doing “god only knows” by the beach boys BUT i’ve always imagined “here comes the bride”– it’s a classic!
The traditional Catholic wedding processional song: “Canon in D.”
Canon in D or Aria on the G String - We have a classical guitarist lined up, but we haven’t talked music choices yet.
I wish a runner like that were in the budget, they’re beautiful. Maybe we’ll get lucky ![]()
“Nothing gonna change my love for you” by our Saxophone player!
A friend of ours will be playing classical guitar… a song that she wrote for us as a wedding gift. She’s just playing the instrumental for the processional, but knowing that it’s unique and “our song” means a lot to us ![]()
Jason Mraz - I’m yours.
I think that song is great and my mom who will be walking down the aisle with me and my father loves it.
As many people have said, my song is Cannon by Pachabel. The runners are so beautiful, they would look absolutely amazing in our church and provide some much need color!
Kissing You by Des’ree - the aisle is shorter so, we can’t play the entire sont. I’m working with my DJ on the “clip” of song to use.
@MelissaB I’m a giant nerd - isn’t that the song they sing at Meg’s wedding in Little Women? (The Winona Ryder/Christian Bale version?) I’ve always thought that was gorgeous.
I’ve been in love with Badly Drawn Boy’s “I Love NYE” ever since I saw Mrs. Lovebug’s wedding on Weddingbee. I’m hoping that’s what i’ll walk to,with my bridesmaids walking to Cat Power’s version of “Sea of Love.”
Our recessional, though - i’m thinking Allman Brothers’ “Jessica.” Every time we hear it we crank it up, and it just signifies a good time to me. Weird, maybe, but I like it.
that first one is gorgeous! i’m having a hard time deciding on a song because i want my sister to play the harp but she is also in the wedding. i’m not sure if i should have her play until the start of the wedding and then walk in with everybody else or if she wants to play through. i would let her pick the song though - whatever she feels most comfortable with!
I will be walking to the instrumental version of “So This is Love” from Cinderella.
Also Canon by Pachabel! Which my fiance adored before he even knew the song was wedding related.
canon in D all the way! ![]()
hopefully, marching down to a gorgeous aisle runner by Original Runner Co. ![]()
We’re not 100% sure yet, but it’s narrowed down to either Cannon or Once Upon a Dream (from Sleeping Beauty, my favorite Disney movie) - probably the instrumental version. My fiance and I were just talking about aisle runners the other day after he found out my dress has a train - he was worried about my dress getting dirty since we’re having an outdoor ceremony!
Its a song by Little Big Town, I think it may be called with you, its #10 on the place to land cd. its the perfect feel for walking down the aisle… ![]()
I asked my future husband about the special touches he would like at our wedding… He told me that when he first heard CANON in D as a little boy, he visualized his wife walking down the aisle. It is his only real request for our ceremony and I would LOVE to walk to it on on of these amazing aisle runners!
Not yet decided yet…so far the best candidate is SpotieOtieDopalicious by OutKast - specifically the trumpet salut part. I think it will be a funky and fun way to walk in, which is fitting of my FH and I.
omg.. this would beeeeeee sooo wonderful … please.. let me it be me.. please.. let it be me…
we’re planning to walk down with the canon in d music.
Nontraditional in the normal sense, but the start of a family tradition (my sister walked down the aisle to this song at her wedding almost 3 years ago), I’ll be walking down the aisle to “Anne’s Theme” from Anne of Green Gables. My sisters and I have always loved those movies/books and it was always a given that I’d use that song as well when my turn comes in less than a year.
Our wedding song may not be “weddingy” but my brother will be playing the acoustice version of God Bless the Broken Road. My amazing fiance helped me get away from an abusive relationship and he saved my life.
I will be walking down to Canon in D (Pachelbel), a classic that I always knew I would walk down to.
It would be absolutely awesone to win one of these runners. Not only are they gorgeous, but it would help cover up the not so great blue carpet in our church ![]()
I am walking down to Canon in D (pachelbel)… but we want someone to play it on an Electric Guitar… WE LOVE CLASSICAL ROCK MUSIC.
Check this out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjA5faZF1A8
I am walking down the aisle to Pokarekare Ana by Hayley Westenra. My mother’s family is from New Zealand and I have always had a fondness of this song-a traditional Maori love song. It is also the perfect tempo to cherish the moment of walking the aisle. It should make an interesting intro to our Jewish ceremony!
I’m walking down the aisle to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Not just a beautiful song, but full of meaning to my dad and I. When I was a little girl, my dad would sing songs to my sister and me at bedtime. We loved the movie “Wizard of Oz” and would ask him to sing songs from the movie. Because he didn’t know all the words - and because the internet and Google had yet to come along to deliver a world of information to your fingertips - he sat in front of the TV with a pen and paper. He listened to each and every song, pausing and rewinding for hours, to write down the words to all the songs, so that he could sing them to us. And he did, every night while we were young. These memories will be with me as I walk down the aisle to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
Canon in D - the same version I picked out for my sister’s wedding!
Still going back and forth on the song– but a friend will be playing it on guitar for us to give it that special touch.
These are just beautiful runners!!!
Either The Logdriver’s Waltz or the Princess Bride theme song. Not sure yet!
We’re having a Hindu ceremony so there will be no walking down the aisle. So, no song!
i am going to do the traditional wedding march, trying to see how we can incorporate some Chinese traditional song but no luck so far
since my fiance is a huge fan of the beatles, im going to do Here comes the sun instrumental.
I love the one with the buckle!
I am walking down to Canon in D. Not very original, but we are limited because of church restrictions. I really wanted to walk down to an instrumental version of Angels by Robbie Williams!
“Wouldn’t it Be Nice” by the Beach Boys or “Going to the Chapel”. I absolutely love these runners!
We’re in the middle of that discussion now! We’re getting married in a dog-friendly park and my step-mom has generously offered to play for us (she’s a pro flutist), Though we know we’ll be walking out to something on the flute, we haven’t decided what yet. An aisle runner would help cover up any poo owners missed!
We’re strutting down to an instrumental version of Love Me Dead by Ludo!! We’re interviewing cello and violinists now!
It’s going to be fab; I’m very excited. It will be lovely and upbeat in classical, and this way our grandmothers can’t hear the lyrics.
My fiance playing acoustic guitar version of “canon in D”… probably the part of the wedding I’m most excited about! He’ll been practicing for a year for this! ![]()
We haven’t decided yet, but I think we’ll end up going with the traditional wedding march.
I just planned this! I am going to walk down the aisle to a string quartet tribute to Foo Fighter’s ‘Everlong’
She’s a brick house! she’s mighty mighty just lettin it all hang out! ow!
We’re getting married in a very traditional church with a very traditional pastor (my grandfather!!) who is insisting on very traditional music - so “Canon in D” it is and we’re fine with that. The runners are so beautiful and I would so LOVE gracing the aisle with a tasteful runner setting the perfect scene for our sacred ceremony. Thanks for considering us……..
Not 100% sure yet (wedding’s not until next August!), but I’m thinking of using “Today” by Joshua Radin.
These runners look awesome!
Not completely sure yet, but probably “Ave Maria” (just instrumental) because it’s so beautiful! I would loooove to win a custom aisle runner, then I won’t have to make my own!
It may be cliche, but it still gives me the chills when I hear it…Canon in D.
So far its going to be Pachelbel’s Canon on D. But, it could change like many things do.
The wedding party is walking down the aisle to Canon in D - Pachelbel, and I am walking to Ave Maria. I am not sure if I am doing the Schubert or Bach version yet. They are both beautiful.
Joshua Radin’s “Today.” Anybody else see Ellen’s wedding clips and then cry buckets?? Cause I did…
We’re going to do something special when we marry. You see, next summer is my grandparent’s SEVENTIETH wedding anniversary. You don’t really hear of that anymore do you? We will be doing a surprise vow renewal at the wedding to honor them and also to give them the wedding they didn’t have..it was after the depression, money was tight so they eloped at the Hernando, MS Courthouse.
We’re going to include in the STD’s a note about this and for family/friends to bring a gift for them. They loved my sis and I so much and sacrificed greatly for us growing up..even bought me my first car! Helped pay for our college after all the scholarship money was used up each semester, making up the difference.
They’ve been through the peaks of life together, looked upward when life was low, and giggled through the twists and turns. They inspire me to know that love can last a lifetime.
We’ll even get them their own cake! And it will all be a surprise.
If I win the aisle runner, what I want is at the end of the runner, their monogram with date of marriage on it..and at the opposite end, by the alter, our names and date of marriage. Like a progression of life and love and a way to honor two people whom our family loves so dearly.
So the song we’ll walk down the aisle to is..
“What a wonderful world”..by Louis Armstrong. He was a favorite of my grandparents. They’ve made our world a better place. The song celebrates family, our southern roots, and the lyrics almost always make me misty eyed.
Cannon in D. Every little girl’s dream :o) Beautiful work by the way!
I will be walking down the aisle to The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony! These runners are AMAZING!!!
I am walking down the aisle to Canon in D. I think it’s just a beautiful song.

Not sure yet as my fiance is in a band and the band members are going to come up with something to play as a gift. I thought it was a really thoughtful gift!

At Last by Ella Fitzgerald… but if you choose me, I will walk down the aisle to anything you want me to! ![]()
Not sure yet - my fiance’s sister has an amazing voice so she will be doubling up as my MOH and the singer as I walk down the aisle. Can’t wait to see what she picks!!
Well, we were going to use the traditional wedding march… i never thought about the use of a different song. I may have to consider, and use a song that we love! I liked looking down this list for some ideas!!!! thanks!
This just shows my lack of creativity. I was going to walk down to the traditional wedding march. After seeing all these other ideas, I may have to rethink it!!
Chicago Color My World….we danced to it with an ipod and headphones during the first snowfall she was here outside….freezing..but perfect!
I am walking down the aisle to:
the 1812 Overture.
I am getting married aboard the USS Constellation in Baltimore and this works beautifully with the setting.
Gosh, everyone’s song choices are so beautiful. My fi really wanted to get one of those runners for our ceremony, since I really love them. However, it won’t fit into our budget. So I would love to surprise her by winning one. (she surprised me by winning our cake). We are walking down the aisle to “In Love With You” by Erykah Badu and Stephen Marley. My fi used to sing it in my ear when we were first dating and since we are a same sex couple, the words are particularly fitting.
hi! wow..we are blown away by these aisle runners! As for our song? we’re going with “Air on the G String” Bach.
Rainbow Connection
Getting married in New Orleans in a courtyard and would love an aisle runner.
Absolutely beautiful! LOVE the design and would LOVE even more to walk down the aisle on it!
I plan on either walking down to “Forever” by Queen or “Alleluia” composed by Ralph Manuel and Travis Cross.
I love these runners, I’ve been drooling over the website for weeks now!
I will be walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of Van Morrison’s “crazy love”
