About Mrs. Lemonade

Decisions, Decisions

November 20th, 2008 @ 9:27 am by Mrs. Lemonade

While I’ll be the first to admit a bridal clutch falls pretty low on the list of priorities, I’ll also be the first to admit that I have a bit of a bag addiction.

When I moved into my current home, I had a shelf installed to run the entire perimeter of my room to house my collection. Suffice it to say I will be adding to said collection a special little bag to commemorate W day. I still can’t decide between a light ivory and or/gold combo (perhaps with a blue lining…) or a darker blue one.

That’s where you come in. Can you help me decide?

Oh boy…drooling on my laptop. I like 2, 3, 4, and 5. Haha not much help. But I mean, really, why have an ordinary clutch on such an extraordinary day? Go for something bold! Plus, it will make for some great pics :)

all of those clutches are adorable. I like #1 and #3. But #4 and #5, you can wear even after the wedding!

DEFINITELY #1! It’s so elegant, and you could totally use it after the wedding. Plus, I love me some J.Crew!

So many good choices? Do you want to go with the monochrome theme or do you want a splash of color? 3, 4, and 5 are my favorites…

Oh - how could you choose? :) Maybe you should have an entire section of the wall devoted to wedding clutches that you sampled. :) If it were me, I’d probably pick #1 - it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn.

I’ve gotta say, I like the first one best, but I’ve also gotta say that I didn’t even end up USING mine because by the time we went to the chapel my mom had gone to greet the guests, so no one could carry it…so it just stayed in the bridal suite all night! Haha. Good thing I didn’t buy one specially.

I like #3! It will give you a little pop of color. And maybe you can take off the flower and replace it with a broach.

I like 1 and 4, both elegant and bridally but both could be used again for a nice night out. I think the blue ones are pretty but will be too distracting from your dress.

if it helps, I actually ordered that first clutch from J.Crew. even though I thought the price was ridiculous, I just had to have it! but I actually returned it and chose a $16 similiar looking clutch from Target instead! when I put the two together and showed my friends, everyone thought the Target was the nicer, more expensive one! and since it probably won’t get much use, I thought I’d rather splurge on something else, like shoes :)

I also bought my wedding clutch at Target! $12.99! And I’ve used it multiple times since! Definitely the way to go if you’re on a budget….
