Part V: An Unforgettable Walk

November 25th, 2008 @ 10:35 am by Mrs. Pinot Noir

After we almost burnt down the Cedar Room, it was finally time to walk down the aisle. Casey, the coordinator at Auberge, came in and lined us up. It was really happening!

I didn’t really expect to cry during the walk down the aisle, but then my father and I started to talk. He told me how much he loved me and how much it meant for him to walk me down the aisle. When I saw a tear fall down his cheek I really thought I was going to lose it. I’ve only seen my father cry on one other occasion so it really got to me. I was on the verge of really bawling until we rounded the corner and I saw all of our family and friends. I was so excited to see everyone that the tears evaporated and we were all smiles again.

I think I’ve heard this before - all of my friends have had crushes on my brother since I was in the 6th grade. He is single so if you know any single ladies in Minnesota let me know :)

Haha, I was gonna say that your bro is totally gorgeous, but it looks like everyone already did that for me. ;) I’m not far from Minnesota…and I’m single. Does that count? Haha.

Also, you look gorgeous! Congrats!
