About Mrs. Champagne
Yeah ok so that title was a bit of a stretch, but there’s really no other way to explain this next DIY. Champ and I wanted our guests to feel comfortable and pampered so we decided we would use guest towels in the restrooms. If you recall, we’ll have floating candles (probably gardenia because of the yummy smell) in the restrooms, but we wanted to add a personalized touch.

I purchased 400 Hoffmaster “linen-like” guest towels in ecru (similar to ivory). They’re pretty thick and soft enough to feel good while drying your hands.

Using my trusty gocco, I printed both our married monogram and our initialed monogram on the towels in black and gold.

By the end of the project, our apartment was literally covered with these towels.

These guest towels will be in the restrooms for our friends and family to use. I hope it will add that extra personalized feeling to our wedding! How do you plan to pamper your guests?

Wow! That’s a lot of work, you are awesome! Was it weird printing on the towels with the fabric “pile”? They look great! :)

Wow, that is awesome. Definitely not in my budget, but awesome none the less. I don’t think we’re going to be doing much in the way of pampering for our guests.

Those look so great and how lucky of your guests. The candles you mentioned, I wouldn’t actually have ones with a scent because some people are really sensitive to some smells.

Oh my gosh they turned out great. Thanks for sharing; I have been scouring the internet looking for ivory guest towels.

Those are super cute! Would they work just as well for napkins?

@Miss Crab Cake: I do think they would work for napkins- they’re very thick!

This is gorgeous, who would have thunk to personalise hand towels. :)

Just wondering if the gocco ink will bleed out when people are wiping off their wet hands. Are you using riso ink meant for cloth?

@von: we actually let them dry and then really tried to get the ink off after washing our hands. Champ and I both still had clean hands, so I’m hoping it will work with our guests too!

Hi Mrs. Champagne,
I’m a product manager for Hoffmaster. I was doing some research on guest towels and stumbled upon your post. I was wondering if we could use your blog post and guest towel picture on our website on the testimonials page. Thanks and congrats!!
