Wedding dress shopping was very easy for me. We went to two places - the first place was filled with amazing couture dresses, but they were way out of my price range. We then visited David’s Bridal. I tried on a total of four dresses and without much hesitation I picked the second dress. I didn’t have a “this is the dress” moment and neither MamaBlush nor SisterBlush cried. Despite missing those “moments” I thought were “supposed to happen,” I loved the dress and how well it fit my body. MamaBlush and SisterBlush agreed. After all, they were the ones who picked the dress out. Finding a dress for me was so quick and easy, as we were heading out the store I thought to myself, “Did I really just buy my wedding dress??”
I know at this moment I’m supposed to say- Mr. Blush don’t look! But I’m totally fine with him seeing the dress.
My criteria was very simple: something that works on my body type. My body type is a deviation from most Asian women: heavier top, smaller lower body. Before dress shopping, I thought to myself how unfair it was that a wedding dress reveals so much of the upper body and hides most of the lower body. However, after finding this dress, I’ve come to realize that there is a dress out there for all shapes and sizes.
So don’t lose hope!

The dress is entirely beaded lace.

The sweetheart top. I was apprehensive that a sweetheart would reveal too much cleavage, but surprisingly this sweetheart top covers you up very well.
If you haven’t realized yet, this is also Miss Spring Roll’s dress. You have great taste Miss Sushi!
Like me, did it take you only a short time to find your wedding dress?
