Do you get tons of sleep each and every night? Are you young and fabulous without a care in the world to cause pesky fine lines and wrinkles? Do you eat a fabulously balanced diet and consume your 8-10 glasses of H2O a day? Well then, you’re nothing like me and this product may be completely unnecessary for you. If, however, you are like me and your skin could use a little TLC, then this cream may be simply perfect for you.

Nude Skincare Advanced Eye Complex
A few months ago I was at Whole Foods for lunch (side note, if you are a fan of Whole Foods, you must make a little trip to Austin to check out the flagship headquarters on Lamar. You will be in LOVE) and decided to kill a bit of time wandering the beauty section. A super sweet gal struck up a conversation with me and we discussed my skincare routine for a few minutes. I mentioned that I was in the market for a new eye cream and she immediately opened a little drawer and produced a few sample tubes of the Advanced Eye Complex. She urged me to take it home and try it for a few weeks. I figured it couldn’t hurt.
That night before bed I followed my usual ritual of prescription face wash, moisturizer, Tazorac cream. I remembered the little purple tube in my purse and promptly retrieved it for its trial run.
Can you be in love with an eye cream? If so, Mr. Lemonade better watch out ‘cuz I totally have a crush on this stuff! The consistency is not heavy and creamy but not a gel either. It absorbs almost as soon as you pat it on and feels AMAZING the instant it touches your skin. I felt the skin on the sides of my eyes actually tightening and the dark circles underneath virtually disappeared! It literally feels good. The bonus is that the product (and the whole line for that matter) is completely free of parabens, sulfates, TEA, DEA, mineral oil, silicones, and potential carcinogens, hence the moniker. Instead of the bad stuff, the cream is chock full of peptides, healthy antioxidants like CoQ10, and natural probiotics. Love it.
The downside is that the product is available at a limited number of retailers as far as I can tell (Whole Foods, Sephora, and their own website) and the price is a bit harsh — $108 for .5 oz. I highly recommend hitting up Sephora and/or Whole Foods for samples if you’re considering the investment. One tiny sample tube lasted me a bit over a week (using it 2X a day under and around my eyes and a tiny bit around my mouth).
Do you have a miracle eye cream that you swear by? What is it?
