I have an embarrassing confession to make: I had never heard of calligraphy until a few months ago. Sure, I knew some people had beautiful handwriting, but I never knew it was such a skilled form of art. I fully appreciate the attention to detail and aesthetic value.

Beautiful calligraphy by Tracy Joe
I would love to hire a calligrapher for our invitations; however, we do not have room in our budget to do so. I could teach myself, as Mrs. Shortcake did, but I am nowhere near as talented and might just burst if I take on another DIY project.
My solution? To print our invitations from my computer using a calligraphy font. And best of all? It’s free! I found two great websites with free calligraphy fonts. All you have to do is download the font to your computer, and place them in your fonts folder, which is located in the computer’s control panel (on PCs).
I downloaded two fonts from the first website: freebooter script and renaissance.

From the second website, I downloaded three fonts: champagne, lainie day, and quilline script thin.
Can you recommend any other calligraphy fonts?
