Our photographer, Dowan, owns and runs MiLK Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. He and his fiance flew all the way up to New York a few months ago to take our engagement pictures. We really wanted to take e-pics in New York because we live here and love this city.
We started off in Central Park and ended in Times Square. We spent an entire day with them! It was great because he was able to take shots of “normal everyday activities”. We were photographed during lunch, dinner, taking the subway, etc. I can not thank Dowan and his fiance enough for not only the amazing photos, but for their patience as we trekked most of Manhattan and even some of Brooklyn! Thank you MiLK Studios!!!!! We love you guys!!!
Our first stop: Central Park. We had a great time in the park- lots of amazing locations. Dowan takes a lot of candid photos (which I love!), but that annoying bag I’m carrying is in most of them. We had many many outfit changes so we actually lugged a suitcase around the city! It was horrible yet perfectly necessary. Dowan’s fiance helped us out a lot by rolling the suitcase around. 
I bought fabric to match my dress to make Mr.Blush’s pocket square. In some pictures (not really this one), the colors pop wonderfully!

We snuck into a fenced off section of the park. We are such rebels!
One of my favorites! Two gracious women let us borrow their dogs for some pictures!! Mr. Blush and I are a bit obsessed with dogs, so this picture means a lot to us. Look at the cutie in Mr. Blush’s arms- he certainly knows his best angle!
We did a lot of this the whole day. I noticed I pucker and lean in a lot more than Mr. Blush. What happened to 90/10??

Friesss..yummm What do you think of Mr. Blush’s skinny tie? I wasn’t sure if he could pull it off, but it looked great on him!
Fifth Ave- people were staring- Mr. Blush was very embarrassed.
But he got used to it. Did I mention we did a lot of kissing??
Crate & Barrel - I wanted to go there just because I love Crate & Barrel.

Brooklyn Promenade- we missed the sunset by literally 3 minutes! But Dowan still got some great shots in!
I love the Manhattan Skyline. 
My beautiful and wonderful sister came out with us for a few hours. Dowan was so sweet and included some great shots of the three of us. This picture was right after I said, “Sister Blush in the middle- Mr. Blush let’s kiss her!” But Mr. Blush and Sister Blush’s response is clearly noticeable in the photograph.

Yes we did a caricature. We were just glad we were able to sit down! Mr. Blush is probably thinking- did we really just spend an entire day taking pictures. He was a trooper!
That’s a wrap! We then headed to Koreatown and feasted like kings!

holy COW- you literally had an entire day session. Were you EXHAUSTED?!?! I would’ve passed out during the caricature. They look great though so it was worth it!

Your photos (and outfits) are great! We’re getting photos done in NYC in a couple weeks, and I’ve been wracking my brain on what to wear that’s cute and warm. Your photos came out great! Bag and all.

The teaser is my absolute fave! I can’t believe you guys did a full day; I was exhausted after 3 hours, and there was no way Mr. HC would have hung out for even a minute longer than that. 
These are great!!! I love the shot on the lawn, the subway, the skyline, St. Patrick’s in the back… wonderful New York engagement photos!
I barely got my FI to take pictures for an hour let alone a whole day..props to you
