Found my way to the east coast, and Mr. Champagne kept me here so we're planning a wedding from afar in my hometown Vail, Colorado. I'm secretly obsessed with reality TV, Wii games where I can shoot a gun, country music, and Caesar: Dog Whisperer. I also spend time pretending to golf, backseat driving, having one way conversations with our MinPin Maxwell, loving champagne, and wedding perfecting… I mean, planning. I use way too many repeated symbols and letters when I write, and I'll love Mr. Champagne endlessly…
About Mrs. Champagne

You already know how much I love the pear shape, so it’s no surprise I wanted to incorporate that into my wedding day jewelry. Originally, I budgeted a rather hefty amount for some nice earrings and maybe a bracelet, but as I searched for sparkly pears I realized that I might not need that generous budget.

Here are some of my favorite pear finds for wedding day earrings. I’ve listed them in order of decreasing price- can’t even tell, huh?!

Roberta Chiarella “J’s Jewel” for $168

Emitations “Ava’s Antique Pear Shape CZ Dangles” On sale for $65.00 (from $100!)

I love emitations because they also show an actual person wearing the earrings so you can see the size of them.

White aisle “Newbury” for $29.99

When I lived in Boston, I lived about a block away from one of the best costume jewelry stores So Good Jewelry - anyone ever heard of it? If you’re ever in NYC or Boston you should seriously check it out… bling heaven.

So some of my favorite online wedding and costume jewelry sites are: White Aisle, Emitations, Wedding Sparkles.com, and Etsy. Any other suggestions?

Oh how I miss that super-pink heaven of sparkle that was So Good.
I still talk about it even though I moved from Boston over 4 years ago - she’s not joking girls, it’s an inexpensive jewelry heaven!

For dainty wedding jewelry you cant go wrong with Vera wang or Chanel- try bagborroworsteal- they usually rent some beautiful stuff for the big day.

Also, for anyone looking for some great deals on wedding gifts, there is a Lalique sale on Gilt Group starting at noon today. Might be able to find some steals.

Here is an invite for the Lalique sale

I love the etsy ones! And the first pair on the girl; that is SO helpful to see the size. You are going to look gorgeous with any of those earrings on!

Never rule out making your jewellery a fabulous, meaningful “something borrowed”. My jewellery is costing me less than $50 because I’m wearing a necklace and earring set of my grandma’s. It would be free if I wasn’t having the necklace re-strung! My wedding budget responds well to the word “free”!

Tigerlilly Jewelry has gorgeous, whimsical, one-of-a-kind pieces! I’ve just placed a big order (for Christmas presents) and can’t wait to order my bridal jewelry. There’s even a sale on right now!
