A Lacy Table

December 10th, 2008 @ 2:02 pm by Mrs. Powder Puff

I don’t know if any of you ever read Once Wed, but it is hands down my favorite site for wedding inspiration. Ever single thing that is featured on there makes me want to rip the pictures out of the computer and magically spash them all over our wedding. Gorgeous!

While perusing this site the other day, I came across these photos of a stunning table setting designed by Lobster and Swan.

Gorgeous, no? These photos give the exact impression I would like for our wedding- warm, rustic, inviting. I can’t get enough! Must… find… lace… tablecloths!

Where do you get your wedding inspiration?

Ooooh, I love that! Its so inviting, and the rosemary from the tables I’m sure makes it smell incredibly homey and comforting. I’d love to attend a party like this!

Once Wed is one of my favorite wedding blogs as well. This table is beautiful.

WOW! I love that lacy table look.

I may need to steal this look for my reception because the venue provides darker linens… they’d look stunning next to ivory linen!

not sure what your budget is but we used lace runners that were actually just wide lace trim that I purchased from http://www.laceheaven.com for 1-2 dollars a yard. I have pictures if you’re interested but I was happy with how they came out.

Our inspiration came from the hat my fiance wears every day. It’s a vintage looking 1920-1930s fedora. So our wedding is very vintage :) I can’t wait! We’re trying to get lace tablecloths, so this post was great!
