Mid-Day Swoon

If I didn’t already have my dress, I would find a way to get this beauty…

Reem Acra, you truly make the most fantastic dresses… I heart you, hard!

Do you still find yourself browsing online for gowns, even after you already bought yours?

I’ve tried so hard not to. However it’s so hard especially when I’m quite addicted to weddingbee and everybody here always has such beautiful dresses.

Nope, I bought my dream Reem Acra already, and I am perfectly happy :) Now I just can’t wait to wear it! But I do always love seeing what other people choose!

Yeah, I’m trying to avoid looking at other gowns as well. I love what I ended up with, but it’s not at all what I thought I wanted, so I’m a little bit afraid of falling out of love with it.

hmm…well, after I bought my first dress, I continued to keep scouring magazines to look for more dresses. i did that because deep down I knew I wasn’t happy with my 1st one. Now that I have my dream dress (the Melissa Sweet Lia!) I notice that my obsession to look at gowns isn’t there anymore. I’ll look at magazines and see the dresses there with an appreciation instead of a hunger to find the dress. does that make sense?

Stop swooning over dresses and get your butt to making your escort cards! Or else you’ll be in big trouble with two dresses!

I bought my first dress and continued looking…needless to say, I now have two. I love the second one and will try selling the first. I still watch Say Yes to the Dress and wish I could afford an Anne Barge….

I got married in June and still look at wedding gowns and watch all of the we tv wedding shows as well as say yes to the dress. I agree with Joy- I wish I could’ve afforded an Anne Barge myself. It is what it is though. When we renew our vows where we had our honeymoon, I plan on getting a truly fabulous beach/formal dress for the occassion and am hoping that all of my continued dress shopping pays off! :^)

Ugh I would love me some Reem Acra, one of the first brands I loved when I first started looking at dresses. You have to stop looking at those tempting photos!! I still can’t help it though.

I’m obsessed with looking at other brides’ dresses now. Sometimes I have dress regrets, but then I just think back to how amazing I felt trying it on for the first time.

I had to stop looking, because I found so many dresses that ‘could have been.’ When I try my dress on, I love it (though it isn’t my ‘dream dress’ which was $900 more expensive), but I have second thoughts during the in-between periods.
