Lazy… Lazy…. Lazzzzz…

December 12th, 2008 @ 10:24 am by Mrs. Powder Puff

Well darlings, it’s finally happened. I’ve hit a DIY wall, and descended into bridal laziness.

Lazy... Lazy.... Lazzzzz... : wedding Couch 0

The other day, I was going over the contract for our venue when I noticed something glorious. You can actually rent table numbers from them for $5. Total. The numbers are plain, white, boring and unoffensive. And absolutely perfect for lazy old moi.

Could I have made way cuter table numbers? Yes ma’am, you betcha. Could I have done it for under $5? Maybe… but honestly, I don’t want to take the time to find out. I’ve spent so much time thinking about and working on projects, that I’m feeling totally blah on anything DIY. I am officially on a crafting break people.

At least I’m not as lazy as this lady, right?

Are you taking the easy way out of any of your wedding projects?

For a second I thought you were saying table number for $5 each. That does NOT sound like the PP I know and love!

Avo, that’s what I thought too! “Whoa, five bucks each? You can buy house numbers at Home Depot for that much.” For $5 total, though, that’s totally worth it (and it might be for $5 each for other people, just not for me).

Good for you! We checked with our site for renting table numbers… $50 for the set - and we only at 6 tables!! Seriously?! So we made our own with card stock and photos and our florist provided the little stands for free.

I took the easy way out on the dress! I’m so happy I did. Our venue provides the table numbers for free, but we are going to do our own. Mr. Taffy’s brother can design them for us, so I’ll most likely just have to print them.

Woah, that picture is hilarious. Where did you get it? The source doesn’t seem to be linking to anything I can find. Thanks!

it’s definitely not worth saving even $5 to attack that project if your heart isn’t into it…for some reason table numbers are the one DIY that aren’t inspiring me at all either, but the table names, do!
