About Mrs. Deviled Egg

I was out and about trying to finish up my Christmas shopping when I popped into Victoria’s Secret. I had a $10 promotional gift card, which they seem to send me every other week, and I figured I’d just grab something for $10 or $12, like some lipstick or a bottle of lotion, and use the discount card to get a deal.

I browsed the store and checked out their sales, but came to a dead stop when I found these:

Cute, right? And at a retail price of $16, I snatched up a cute pink pair that says “Kiss the Bride” and walked out having spent only $6.

With a pair of underwear that clearly says “Bride” on it, there should be no confusion about my role on the wedding day. Right. Like anyone will see these in action on the day we get married, outside of Mr. Deviled Egg, of course. (And, if he knows what’s good for him, he will never be confused about who is his wife!) Maybe I just wasted $6 to plaster words on my soon-to-be-married rear that state the obvious. Wow! Sometimes I am such a sucker for novelty wedding items, especially when they can be purchased at a discount.

But, a wedding is only one day and this will be the only day I can legitimately get away with wearing bride panties. And just in case I leave the restroom with layers of tulle tucked into areas where they shouldn’t be or I have some sort of freak accident during the electric slide and my derriere is exposed, that ever important “Bride” in all of its glittery, pink glory will be stretched across my hind end for all to see. Good to know I’ll have that detail taken care of. :) That’s right. We haven’t found a DJ or booked our honeymoon yet, but what I’ll be wearing to cover my butt is, well, covered.

Are you planning on broadcasting your bridal status across your bottom on your wedding day?

I used to order custom undies for all my girlfriends with their new moniker “Mrs. ____” bedazzeled on their rear. I would pick either hot pink or bright blue for them as a fun gift. Maybe one of them will return the favor for me :)

Your MOH and other bridesmaids might see them as they help you into your dress. :-)

I wasn’t planning on it, but I knew I wanted something cute since everyone helping me into my dress would see them. Then my sister got me a cute pink pair that said “Mrs.” on the back, and I loved them! I even made our photographer take a picture of me in them.. just for my husband of course ;)

These are super cute! And because they are so discreet you can really wear them long after your wedding day - as opposed to a t-shirt or tote that says bride!

They have the cutest stuff! They had the whole something blue line this summer when I got married, and my girls got me a bunch of cute little numbers that said bride, mrs., etc. I wore these cute little tiffany blue ones that said “soon to be mrs.” in stones. My photographer took a couple of shots of me wearing them on wedding day! I still wear all of those items, even if some of them say future mrs. They are fun to wear around for the hubby once the honeymoon is over! Have fun shopping!
