Today is a very special day. It’s National Maple Syrup Day, but more importantly, I met Mr. Spring Roll four years ago today.

As Mrs. Cupcake would say, today is our “meetiversary”. It still amazes me how a simple, “Do I know you?“* will soon result in, “I do.”
Although we have had our not-so-great moments, the past four years have been nothing short of wonderful. I look forward to another four and many, many more.
And if today wasn’t special enough, two years ago today, our Shih-Tzu, Isabella was born. Not only has she taught me the meaning of unconditional love and devotion, she brings the best out of Mr. Spring Roll and me.
* Mr. Spring Roll used the cheesy pick-up line, “Do I know you?” to start a conversation with me. What can I say, it worked.
Do you celebrate your “meetiversary”?
We used to celebrate our meetiversary but I alawys forget the date… This year Mr. PN remember but I didn’t! Now he says we just remember our wedding anniversity. No more meetiversaries or engaversaries.
We are actually getting married on our “meetiversary” or well close to it (same holiday weekend, just 2 days different!)! So we will be celebrating it!
That is so sweet!
And we sure do celebrate our meetiversary! Halloween!
We are getting married 9 days after our 5th meetiversary. Only reason I remember is cause it was also my first day of college. If anyone had told me that day that I had just met my future husband I would have laughed… or cried
We have a meetaversary, then a firstdateaversary, then an engageaversary, then another engageaversary…
I’ll be excited when we whittle it down to one day. Of course, Mr. Doctor remembers them all, but our celebration usually consists of, “Hey, remember today’s our first date…” followed by, “Oh yeah.” … and that’s it.
We don’t remember the exact day we met, but we celebrate the day he asked me out (the first time), the date we officially started sating, the date of our first kiss, and now we’ll celebrate the date of our engagement (until we are married in 2 years).
We “met” online so we celebrate our first date as our anniversary and will probably celebrate both once we’re married

I like to celebrate the day we met and our first date. Like doctorgirl, we typically just say “oh yeah, weird that’s it’s been so long, huh?” and if we’re lucky we go out for dinner. But I think it’s great to remember these days and acknowledge how far we’ve come. I look forward to celebrating our engagiversary and then our marriage anniversary.
Our original meetaversary was so uneventful and minor, but our second meetaversary was substantially more important as it was the official exchange of numbers, heated glances, and some forward moves on my part (what can I say, I have a take-charge personality when I see something I like). Luckily that was on Thanksgiving four years ago, and since it moves around on the calendar all the time, the season always reminds us, without us needing to do a date specific production. I’m totally disappointed that we have to start counting all over again!
We used to celebrate our first-kiss-ary, which was pretty close to the meet-a-very. 
Not sure if that will continue post-wedding, but only because we already have so many other dates to remember.
Oops. Meet-a-very, ha ha. I meant meet-a-versary, of course.
Mr. Belle and I celebrate our first date-a-versarry which is december 27th.
Our LAST FIRST date we will ever go on.. Gosh I love him so much!!!
Your puppies are adorable. Btw, I have a 16 mo old Havanese who has us wrapped around his finger.

I really do feel the need to tell you that you are my favorite bee of all. I seem to relate to many of your posts. That and the fact that you are another colored on couple, one that Mr Becky and myself would hang out with.
Onto the point, neither of us can remember the exact date of our meeting but like to relive the experience often…he a musician and in the army just returning from iraq, and i the stunning bartender who won him over with drinks 
you guys are very cute! I have been reading your posts since you got started! CONGRATS!!!
