Today our DIY rewind comes from Mrs. Lemon. Mrs. Lemon took her handmade invitations to the next level by embroidering her fabric-covered invitations (at home!), and printing the inserts with her Gocco printer. I still don’t believe that these fit in an A9 size envelope, yet she swears they did! This DIY project was originally posted on May 14, 2007.’

I got confirmation this weekend that everyone on the east coast has received their packages in the mail…so without further ado, I get to share my GIGANTIC wedding project with you…MY INVITATIONS!

And to preface any questions: they are completely homemade, they did take a lot of time and effort, they weighed 4 oz (pricey for USPS, but worth it) and they cost around $2 each to make including both envelopes. I’ll have a complete write-up on the cost breakdown later this week along with some helpful Gocco tips!
