Following up my make me up post, pretty much everyone agreed with the smokey eye/neutral lip, which is what I was leaning towards too. Guess I just needed some “bee-assurance”. :o) You guys had me sold when you pointed out the red lipstick on teeth and re-applying issues with the other look.
Like Miss Snapdragon, I’m usually only a weekend make-up wearer, mainly because I look and dress like this during the week…

I did do some grooming prep for wedding day this week though! I got bangs!
Before
I figured I should get them cut now so I can
1. get used to them
2. give them time to grow out a little in case too much was cut off
3. have time to think of an alternative in case I hated them
I might be a lil’ biased, but I think bangs suit me just fine. I like subtle change.
How did you beauty prep yourself?
I just got contacts because I didn’t want to be a bespectacled bride!!! Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just have very prominent, thick, black framed glasses that do a good job of hiding my face, haha.

First off, during the week, even sans makeup, you are hot. Second, I love the bangs.
Are you being hugged by a giant pickle in that first picture?
Do you have the problem of feeling out of place in makeup because you wear it so rarely? I feel like a little kid playing dress up when I put it on!
The bangs are great– They say sexy, grown up and put together!! I bet you keep them!
The bangs look great! I wish I could add some fun bangs but I don’t think it would work with curly hair…
This is the first time I am reading your posts, and I just figured that the Byodo-Inn temple is the venue for your wedding! I am sure you couldn’t have chosen a better one! I live in Honolulu and keep going to Byodo-Inn frequently. 
The bangs look great on you. But you look beautiful even in your ‘uniform’ look with no make up on.

@doctorgirl: I know what you mean! Usually I wear make up to look like I have no make up at all. People can’t usually tell that I have any on (like in the second photo).
