We used Blurb to make the books. This was the second time I have used them — the first being a wedding gift to my bridesmaid Becka and her husband of photos I took at their wedding after their photographer flaked out on them back in spring 2007. This time I used a couple of Blurb’s newest options: their thicker paper and the ImageWrap hardcover.
I was really happy with the way the books came out. Here is the front (on the right) and back (on the left) of the book. The back was just a mirror image of the picture on the front.
You’ve seen our engagement photos (or, if you missed them, they are here and here), so I won’t bore you by showing you the whole book, but I thought I’d share a few of my favorite pages.
Here is a spread over two pages. This is also the photo we used for our holiday cards.
There were also a few pages of individual photos of us. Here’s Mr. Fondue’s two pages.
I liked these pages, although it looks kind of distorted in this shot because I didn’t want to flatten them out to make it look better.
Here’s photos of us on the carousel.
And in front of the food stand at the fair.
These are the last two pages in the book. I thought the walking away shadow shot was cute as the last photo.
Did anyone else make their own photo books?
