Wedding Blog

The morning of the wedding was in a word, awesome. I was surrounded by the coolest women. My sister was my rock. My best friend, Ashley was my whip. The other girls were just marvelous, too. I could not have envisioned a better start to my first day of marriage. Makeup and hair started early and on time. I had pre- loaded my iPod with some chill tunes and brought my sound dock for around the clock music: Bob Marley, The Beatles, Jack Johnson, The Decemberists. It definitely set the tone for the morning. The best morning.

My bridesmaid, Kelly and my sister, Sarah. Check out their cool monogrammed robes! That was part of my gift to them!

I had food delivered to the suite. It was delicious. See those “S” monogram cookies?

I ordered some custom Meli and Angi cookies for each bridesmaid a la Mrs. Canary.

I had to provide my girls with a little bubbly, too. I got this idea from the famous mrs.pootiekins, aka Sarah K. Chen!

Right before I got dressed, we exchanged our gifts. Mr. C writes the most romantic cards. Can’t you tell?!

Mr. C got me a beautiful aquamarine necklace. My something blue. It was perfect.

I gave Mr. C a sweet Swiss Army watch!
