About Mrs. Sushi

You’re Invited!

January 1st, 2009 @ 2:45 pm by Mrs. Sushi

So let me start the New Year for apologizing for my… um… lack of existence lately. The holidays swallowed me whole and just finally spit me out. My last post left off with the send-off of our invites. This is the follow up… our invites!

You're Invited! : wedding diy invitations oahu stationery Invitel

These are the labels that I wrote to Miss Etiquette about. I printed these out on 8.5″x11″ label sheets (6 on a sheet). Mr. Sushi and I cut them out individually by hand. I am sooo glad we did; I might be a lil’ biased, but I think they came out quite nicely.

You're Invited! : wedding diy invitations oahu stationery Invite Return addy was Gocco’d on the back of the envelope.

This is what the guest pulls out of the envelope. A jacket, complete with belly band!

You're Invited! : wedding diy invitations oahu stationery Invites01 Invites gets pulled out of jacket and ta da…”You’re Invited!”

You're Invited! : wedding diy invitations oahu stationery Invites02 Close up of our invite; it’s printed on bright white linen paper.

Next up: the inserts.

The labels look great! I am so glad that using labels is becoming more acceptable, because I plan on using them rather than spending hours on my calligraphy (and wasting a few dozen envelopes).

so beautiful! you are so talented! :) I would love to learn more about the wording you used on your invitation if you don’t mind sharing; it seems to be uniquely worded and I just love that!

These are FABULOUS. Seriously — I love every aspect of them, from the cherry blossom branch design to the origami belly band to the retro label.
