Part I, II, III

Due to overwhelming popularity, we’re going to continue this ring shot series!

Elizabeth shot this with her Canon SD750.  She planned her wedding in less than 4 months, and is getting married on January 24th!

Ruby Slippers loved the beauty of her rings mixed with the simplicity of the clothespins.

JanieLeigh and her fiance are both lit crazy — she’s an English/History Education major and he’s an English major. Her ring is a custom vintage-inspired setting, and the center stone is her mother’s.

rosychicklet’s engagement ring is a 75 year old estate piece, placed among the earrings, necklace, bracelet, handkerchief and clutch that she carried the day of the wedding.  The center stone is a white sapphire, and the platinum setting includes diamonds and blue sapphires.  This picture was taken with her Canon pas the morning of her wedding before the photographer arrived.

kosstobe’s fiance proposed this past Christmas Eve (congratulations!)!  Her round solitaire ring with a gold band was shot with a Canon SD600 Elph and retouched with Picasa.

If you’d like to send us pictures of your rings, check out Anne Ruthmann’s tutorial, think of some cool backgrounds, take a bunch of pictures, and email the best ones to guest at weddingbee.com.  Be sure to tell us your username, and any details you’d like to provide about the rings, camera, or editing technique!

PS - Wait for a big New Year’s post coming from me later today!  I’m actually leaving for New Orleans shortly, and had a wee bit of  New Year’s Eve celebration, so I’m a little bit behind schedule.  But I can’t wait to tell all you guys about our wonderful 2008, so stay tuned!  :)

Ooh. I thought it couldn’t get any better, but it always does! It’s tough to choose a favorite, but the clothespin shot makes happy — blue skies, bright colors . . . .

Thanks, Miss Hot Cocoa! It’s not a great ring shot, really, because you can’t see the rings that well, but it made me happy too :-) Yours are great - I love the flower one, and I meant to take one on a christmas ornament too, but I keep forgetting when it’s daylight!

So many awesome ring shots!! I think the Miss Hot Cocoa’s orchid is my fave for pretty in this series, Miss Velvet was the bravest to venture out after the storm, Miss Monogram did a fabulous job of thinking about her background, Wee Spud’s is definitely the most unique with the sword, I love how rosychicklet brought all of the other antique pieces into the image to set the stage, and Hanh-Nhi’s is just fun and playful, Rebecca’s did a great job of getting creative with the wisk! I like them all!! Girls, these are all fabulous!!!
