Smells Like… A Wedding

January 6th, 2009 @ 11:58 am by Mrs. Powder Puff

I love perfume. Something about wearing it makes me feel so… dressed. Like a lady.

My collection isn’t large, but I definitely love all the scents I have, and I use them frequently.

#1: Ralph Lauren, Romance

Smells Like... A Wedding : wedding Perfume
This one is by far my favorite. It’s sweet, feminine, and definitely romantic. I wear this on dates with Mr. Powder Puffy.

#2:

Dolce and Gabbana, Light Blue
Smells Like... A Wedding : wedding Perfume01 This scent is definitely a little muskier than my other perfumes. I wear a teeny bit, and it goes a long way. Unfortunately, I don’t wear it all that often anymore because all the women I’ve noticed wearing this fragrance lately have gotten a little spritz happy. And that is not a good thing.

#3: Victoria’s Secret, Very Sexy
Smells Like... A Wedding : wedding Perfume02 I love this perfume for a night out. Definitely sexy, but feminine as well. Vicki’s has never let me down.

And now, drum roll please…

The wedding perfume!

Victoria’s Secret, Dream Angels HeavenlySmells Like... A Wedding : wedding Perfume03
A fabulous scent! It’s definitely wedding appropriate, with hints of peonies, and some vanilla, but not too sweet-smelling. I feel really beautiful wearing it!

What scent are you wearing on your wedding day?

I love Body by Victorias Secret.

Have you seen the racy commercial for Light Blue with the couple in the raft? Oh my! Makes me want to run out and buy a bottle! :)

i used to wear the vickie’s heavenly perfume too! i liked to say i was heaven “scent” i know, horribly cheesy. i haven’t worn it in a while in favor of more lighter and citrusy scents but that’s a great choice!

For our wedding, no scents for us. A woman sat next to us in the theater the other day, and throughout the whole movie, all I could smell was a flowery scent. It wasn’t really strong, but by the end of the movie I had a headache.

Mr. D smells like soap and skin, and I love it. Ever so occasionally I’ll put on BCBG for girls Metro… but it’s the most miniscule amount, so that most people don’t notice it.

Thanks for the ideas!

Escada is really good too! They have over ten different scents, and I like almost all of them!

I have been having a really hard time finding a scent that Mr. T and I both like! I love Gucci Rush, but I think it might be too heavy to spray on. I’m going to order the lotion so I can just put a little bit on! :)

I will be wearing Vera Wang Princess. I figured if I can’t wear one of her dresses, I’ll be able to wear her in some way on my special day. Just the smell alone makes me feel pretty ;)

just bought Miss Dior Cherie for my wedding day. It’s uber romantic and feminine. Plus, the tv commercial for it is so darn cute!

I’m a Heavenly girl my self. ;) It is my everyday scent and I know most people go for something “special” for their wedding, but that scent is what he is used to and its part of the girl he fell in love with. So, that is what I’ll wear.

When we were first dating he would snuggle my neck and say “You smell so good, I could stay like this forever.” A little later I told him what it was, and now he NEVER lets me run out of it (quite honestly, I currently have enough for a year or two). So it is special to both of us.

I’m probably wearing the Bordello perfume oil from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. Their oils last a lot longer than perfumes, and I wore that oil on our first date. :)

I also wear Vera Wang Princess, a lot- I kind of want a different scent for the big day, but I am so in love with Princess that I have a feeling I’ll end up wearing it…. I really find it unique to most other perfumes, and it’s so soft and feminie.. I just love it!

Right now I love my new scent Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. I don’t know if I will wear that for the wedding or try to find a new special one.

I’m actually wearing a Bath and Body Works perfume (weird, right?). My mom was like…that is not a wedding scent! But I love it. It makes me feel pretty and happy. So I said :P hehe
Its called Velvet Tuberose and as weird as the name is I’m super excited about it. Anyone else get their perfume from somewhere unexpected?

All great choices you listed! I have been a dedicated Ralph Lauren Romance wearer for about 5 years now (The first gift I bought the Mr. Was the men’s version because he liked mine so much). On my wedding day, I am going to wear Armani “Diamonds”.

I wear VS Heavenly every day! I love the soft scent. I haven’t decided on my wedding day perfume yet… I will have to sniff out your choices to see if they can make it in the running for me. :)

I wore D&G Light Blue, it’s all I own because I’m really sensitive to perfume smells and all you need is that one squirt because a little really does go a long way. I wanna go check our your other favs, though.
