After our wedding in June, I forced myself to stop buying wedding magazines. Over the course of our year-and-a-half engagement, I had amassed a truly enormous collection of bridal magazines that mildly alarmed Mr. Jasmine. So I made a big show of dumping all the magazines and slowly weaning myself from my obsession.

But I recently made a small exception for the newest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings…

because my photo is inside! I’m featured in the “In Her Words” section, commenting on how I chose my wedding lengha. My fabulous photographer, Marisa Holmes, has a scan of the article on her beautiful new blog.

I’m excited to have a photo from our wedding in my favorite wedding magazine. So, to be completely cheesy and tie the post together, how did *you* choose your wedding dress?

P.S. I miss you guys—I need to get back to blogging more!

that is awesome. congrats i wish i’d gotten my act together and submitted photos sooner to a few publications. and i’m in pr — it would have been a no brainer. i did approach vermont vows and they were planning to have us as a featured couple but our wedding venue went out of business (the restaurant closed and an anthroplogie opened in it’s place) so they didn’t want to promote a place that couldn’t be booked. but sigh - life gets moving and poof, you’ve been married for almost a year and a half.

we miss you — you are one of my favorite bees. i still gasp when i see your beautiful photos.
