I got engaged on June 27, 2008.
I got engaged 12-20-08!
On Christmas day, I opened my only present, a card, under the tree. Not just any card, but a beautiful card telling me that he wanted us to become a family this summer. I’ve been a single mom now for five years. My son is 10, and I’ve put him first always. I didn’t think I’d get married again muchless ever fall head over heels in love after heartbreak, but I did! He’s a wonderful man and will not only become my husband this year, but he’s thrilled to become a step-dad and loves my son so very much.
We’ve dubbed my Christmas gift/engagement trip the “Engagi-moon” because although we both will plan the destination for the 3 day mini-vacation, only he will know the time, details, and exact place of when the ring will be placed on my finger!
The date of our engagi-moon will be either the last weekend of February or the first weekend of March, but officially our families were told of our plans to marry last fall. All that’s missing now is the ring and the moment!
I’ve already been planning our wedding and enjoyed bloging about it too! Our wedding is going to be in August. The Mindy Weiss Ultimate Organizer would definitely go to good use because I will only have five months to finalize our wedding plans after we return from our trip!
The day we decided to get married was sometime around January 20, 2008. The date we told our friends & family was around May 19th. We had our engagement party on August 8th. The day H2B officially got on 1 knee and proposed to me with my beautiful ring was Dec. 15th.

My friend got engaged with her wonderful fiance on December 12, 2008. Completely unexpected, since we all thought he was going to do it on Christmas Day.
This would be SO perfect for her!

I got engaged 10-31-07 and he carved, “Will You Marry Me?” in pumpkins and put them, lit up, on his roof so when I pulled up down the country driveway I would see them when I came around the corner. He put my ring in a heart-shaped pumpkin!

OMG, you guys are going to gasp when you hear when I got engaged!!! Are you ready for this?!?!? March 3, 2006! I was in law school when he popped the question and just recently graduated. Don’t worry ladies…we do have a date for October 2009.
I’m entering for my sister…..she doesn’t know it yet, but she’s getting engaged next weekend! This would be a great engagement present to give her!
I got engaged last Thursday, on New Year’s day, after being with my boy for four years. He surprised me with a trip to the N. Carolina mountains, we stayed in a tiny cabin, and went fake snow tubing! I couldn’t be more excited to finally read WeddingBee and feel included. Yay!
We got engaged on 10.22.06 on my very first cruise. It was just the 2 of us in our room, he was so nervous to ask…When he did I cried and forgot to answer him!! I can’t wait to get married (our wedding is this October) and that planner would be wonderful to keep all my stuff organized!!
