Let’s Rehearse… In Style!

January 14th, 2009 @ 12:36 pm by Mrs. Powder Puff

Lately I’ve been obsessed with rehearsal dinner dresses. Don’t ask me why. I know it’s a long way off, but my fingers are just itchin’ to check out pretty spring frocks! Maybe it’s my subconscious telling me I need to go shopping…

Here are some of my favorites:

Adrianna Papell Shantung Dress

Gorgeous, no? Those flower cutouts get me every time, and the color is to die for!

J.Crew Cotton Cady Lydia Dress

Love the sunny color. And these necklines are super flattering on me. Plus, J.Crew is just awesome.

Cabbage Hill DressAh, Anthropologie, I love thee. Such a sweet dress. The ruffles make me want to swoon!

There are so many options out there! But I’m definitely gravitating towards feminine dresses, bright colors, and pretty details. I’m a bride, and I’d like to look the part for my last night as a single gal.

What are you wearing for your rehearsal dinner?

I love all of them! I was eyeing the top one myself, but I think the placement of the waist poof won’t work for my figure. Damn. Anyhoo, gorgeous choices!!

Oh my goodness! I’ve been looking at both the AP dress and the J Crew dress for my own rehearsal!!!! I’ll probably go with the JC dress since it seems to appear a bit more casual and that’s the feel I want for the rehearsal/dinner, but all of them are FABULOUS choices!

I love all of the dresses. The Anthropologie one is great, but last time I checked, they didn’t have my size. :( I liked the top one a few months ago when I was considering what I might wear to the our rehearsal.

I was considering the Adrianna Papell for my bridesmaids dresses! Sadly, they were sold out back then in all the online stores. Are they back in stock? Mrs SB might need to go a-shoppin’.

I am thinking about making a dress, since I didn’t make the wedding dress. There’s probably a 10% chance that I will actually have time to do it though!

Ha Ha, I was at Anthro yesterday looking at dresses. The only thing that held me back- I didn’t feel like getting undressed. Love the dresses you picked out.

They are all so sweet and lovely. I covet them all! I’ve been eyeing those first two for quite awhile. And Anthro never disappoints. You have great taste!

One of my bridesmaids is wearing the AP dress for my wedding (they are all choosing different dresses) and I love it! Since you commented on the color, I wanted to let you know that it is actually a little more red than it shows up on my compter. Not quite plum in real life, but not the deep eggplant that I expected. Really pretty regardless, and I love it.
