About Mrs. Powder Puff

The other evening, some of the Chicago Bees ventured out in the freezing temps to get together for a fun dinner-and-a-movie date!

Our waiter was a big fat FAIL at taking our picture all together, so we did the awkward “pass the camera back and forth” thing.

pp1

It was Mrs. Jasmine and Mrs. Emerald on one side of the table…

pp2

… and Miss Quiche, me and Miss Snapdragon on the other side.

Our movie of choice? Bride Wars! And honestly, it was exactly what you would expect. There were some funny moments, but it was mostly fluff. But you know what? That was A-OK with me! I was entertained, and that’s really what I look for in a movie. I think the other Bees enjoyed it as well.

It was so great to meet up with everyone! Let me tell you, the Bees I’ve had the privilege of meeting are some of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve ever known. It’s such a pleasure to be counted amongst this company!

Have you seen Bride Wars? What did you think?

Beautiful Bees!
I saw Bride Wars last week with one of my Bride’s Maids and we felt the same way - and we’re also embarrassed to admit we cried toward the end.

I saw “Bride Wars” yesterday, too. It’s cute! A little silly, sure… but a sweet, funny, light-hearted way to spend an hour and a half. Plus, Kate Hudson wears some really kickin’ shoes during the movie. :)

At least the ending wasn’t what you would expect.

Oh dear, Emerald + 1 glass wine = pink cheeks! It was so fun to meet you all!

I admit, I had to dash away a quick tear, haha.

Oh how much fun, I’m so jealous!!! I saw Bride Wars this weekend. It was entertaining, but I was a little upset that they never really drove the important points home. The ending is cute, but too predictable. ;)

You guys are too cute. The Boston Bees went to see Bride Wars too. I didn’t hate it enough to want my $8.99 back, but I would like $4 back, if you know what I mean. ;-)

I agree- very predictable, not all I hoped and dreamed for, but entertaining. I love Anne and Kate…wish it would have been more. I like how things ended with Anne’character, but the end end was just plain cheesy!
