Mrs. Sea Breeze's Picture
Mrs. Sea Breeze, Vancouver/Dominican Republic Age in 2008 and Occupation: 30, Communications Manager Fiance's Age in 2008 and Occupation: 29, Experiential Marketing Director Engagement Date: October 6, 2007 Wedding Date: November, 2008 Blogging Since: July 17, 2008 Venue: Majestic Colonial Resort, Punta Cana About Me: Planning a destination wedding by the sea should be (oh no she di-in't…) a breeze (…*sigh* yep, she did) but when you've never been to the Caribbean, your powers of imagination are really put to the test. Luckily, I'm 90% resourceful, creative optimist (and kooky, neurotic practicalist-if-that's-a-word for the other ten). Other than writing about our week-long celebration of family, friends, laughter and love, I adore books, shoes and… you guessed it… long walks on the beach.
About Mrs. Sea Breeze

I’m just going to hit pause on the recaps here for a sec and go into a bit more detail on the Out of Town bags we created for our guests, as several of you wanted to know where we got them from.

But first, here are some shots of our wedding-branded goodies in action:

The temporary tattoos ended up in different places:

Bridesmaid Miss P even carried around the tote for our necessary wedding supplies on the day of:

Now for the details:

We ordered the tote bags, hats and shot glasses from HAS Marketing based in Toronto. Looking on their site now, I can’t see examples of the stuff, but I think what happened was that we found examples on other sites and this company sourced it all for us (Mr Breezy’s in marketing and I think it’s normal for him to do it this way). They were great to deal with though, so check ‘em out.

  • Men’s black caps (fitted) w/ front embroidery (silver thread) - $9 each
  • Ladies white caps (Velcro closure) w/ front embroidery (silver thread) - $6 each
  • Logo set up - $7
  • Luinar Convention Tote, Purple - $5.60 each
  • Screen charge for tote bags - $35
  • Shot glasses - $3.05 each (quantity discount b/c we ordered 75)
  • Imprint set up for shot glasses - $45

For the temporary tattoos, Mr Breezy gets full credit. When he first came up with the idea, I thought he was nuts and told him so. Several times. However, I was totally wrong—they turned out amazing and our guests LOVED them. They are from Tattoo Manufacturing Inc. The only thing is that the minimum quantity is 1000. Needless to say, we’ll be sporting these for a while.

  • 2″ x 2″ Custom Tattoo, no white effect, quantity 1000 = $93.77

*Shipping and taxes not included in the above prices.

First 2 photos (the awesome ones) are by Phil Steingard; the rest by Breezys & Friends.

You and your guests just look so fun. I wish I just happened to be at the same resort that week so I could steal one of those hats and use my 3 Polish words I know to blend in with the crowd.

Great looking tattoos! I provide temporary airbrush tattoos at private events and the guests love them. Very popular! Here is a link to some party pictures for those who are interested (http://www.flickr.com/photos/cnet2/sets/).

Anyone interested in having an airbrush tattoo artist at their event please contact me and I can help find them in your area.
