Part XX: A Walk in the Vineyards

January 21st, 2009 @ 3:30 pm by Mrs. Pinot Noir

Our ceremony was beautiful, our reception flawless, and now the day we had spent so much time planning was coming to a close. After the reception ended we jumped into our town car, photographer in tow, and headed back towards San Francisco. But what is a wine country wedding without vineyard photos? So, we convinced our town car driver to make a quick pit stop in a vineyard along the way.

This is one of my favorite shots (and the cover to our Christmas card).

Our town car was running out of gas (?!?) so we made a quick pit stop at the gas station before getting on the highway. I ran inside to buy a bottle of water. Interestingly, the station attendant didn’t even seem to notice I was wearing a wedding dress. (Did this type of thing happen to anyone else?!)

Our photographer convinced the town car driver to make one more quick stop before leaving the valley. We found this amazing tree that must be hundreds of years old. I think it represents “history and solid roots”.

After a few photo shoots we settled into the car and headed back to the city…

Up next - trolleys and a post-wedding snack!

Why are some of them crystal clear, and some of them kind of pixellated (look at the last one, for example). Is it my eyes, the photographer, or Weddingbee?

Nope, I see it too. Some of them seem slightly out of focus or of a reduced quality. Someone changed the resolution before putting them up on bee??

Sorry about that - we will resize some of the images to a smaller size.
