Photographic Bliss

January 21st, 2009 @ 3:01 pm by Mrs. Quiche

If you haven’t already seen Junebug’s latest fashion report, I suggest heading over there, STAT! They recently released their Best Wedding Photos of 2008 (from leading photographers around the world). I am not sure how they compile their data, or if they’re just personal favorites, but I don’t care—I love them all! I could just drink up these stunning images. They can also offer you great inspiration that you can then show to your photographer for your wedding day.

Sit back and enjoy my personal favorites…

As a photog, I love getting images from the bridge and groom they like or want to replicate. I usually throw it on my iPoo’d and look through them about 3-4 times a day, and when I visit the church and reception location, I can dream up ideas/combinations, etc. Obviously, the goal isn’t to outright copy, but to use as inspiration :D And these are some great examples!

My photog said the same thing as mainfr4me. As a client, she keeps a file for you, and makes copious notes, and attachments in it with what style of photos you like. She has encouraged me to share examples of what I like with her, and I plan on sending her a batch when I send her the list of “must have” shots and final itinerary of the day

I’ve been OBSESSED with “the image is found” forever. I blog stalk on a regular basis. I’m not engaged yet but my bf and I agree that no matter what, we have to have them for our, (hopefully not to far off) wedding. (keeping my fingers crossed) :-)

Junebug is mainly a Seattle-based wedding planning site- and a lot of those Photographers were Seattle-based- so I’m guessing they just compiled the best of what they saw- mostly local, and some national. Beautiful images- I love wedding photography!
