We have a super fun giveaway for you! When Sky at Tedde contacted me (Mrs. Bee) about her Puffy Hearts, I fell in love! These handmade hearts are 100% handmade by various artists — each are about 3 inches tall, and no two are alike. Tedde has also assigned an emotion to each colored heart, so yellow means friendship and red means passion.
These would make the most adorable favors for a Valentine’s Day wedding, or as a gift just because. And today we’re giving away 55 Puffy Hearts to one lucky bride!

I super puffy heart these puffy hearts so much, that I just bought a bunch for myself and to give away as gifts!
To enter this contest, please tell us… do you plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day?
You have until 9pm PST Sunday to enter. Good luck!

I always celebrate Valentine’s Day, in a relationship or not! For me V-Day is about love period, and I’ve always used the day to tell my friends and fam I love them also! Chocolate if for everybody!
FI discovered a wonderful restaurant last year that only takes a limited number of reservations on Valentine’s Day (no milling people through, one after the other as quickly as possible). I cannot wait to go back!
I LOVE these! I am home sick from work today and these just brought the biggest smile to my face. I have no idea yet what my Valentine’s Day plans might be, but if I get these, I will definately be using them to brighten someone’s day!!!
Yep, we’ll celebrate Valentines Day…probably with a cozy movie night at home with some vino and treats. I am love, love, loving these little hearts! So dang cute!
We will celebrate. We haven’t planned anything so who knows what we’ll end up doing.
our anniversary is three days after v-day, so we celebrate that instead.
I love celebrating any and every holiday. I love to buy presents for people so when I have an excuse… even better ![]()

These would be perfect little favors for our wedding. Hopefully our v-day will be low key. We throw some great wine and cheese nights if I do say so myself.
We don’t plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but we do intend to heavily celebrate the day after Valentine’s Day (also known as Cheap Chocolate Day!)
We are going to dinner at the restaurant where we got engaged. It’ll be our first time back there since our engagement and I can’t wait!
love these hearts!! and love supporting handmade gifts. and yes valentine’s day will be wonderful this year we will most definatly being doing dinner and movie like we do every year.
My fiance and I were usually apart for valentines day due to our long distance relationship (for 4 years), but this year will be the first Vday that we’re actually living in the same city! So yes, we plan on celebrating it this year and also because it’ll be year since he proposed! Last year when he proposed, was the first time we were able to spend an actual Vday together, so he made sure it was memorable..
I am IN LOVE with these hearts!! We are having a beach wedding and our guests children will each be receiving beach pails made of felt with gifts inside. I am going to add these to the pails. They just fit the look and feel of the pails perfectly.
As far as Valentines day we have nothing planned, I thought we might have a nice dinner at home since this is our first Valentines day together since getting engaged. Then again knowing my FI, he probably something up his sleeve. He is always surprising me. ![]()
After 2 years of spending Valentine’s Day apart, we hardly even acknowledge it. I imagine we’ll spend the evening cooking dinner together, enjoying good wine, and taking in a movie . . . and enjoy every minute of it!
The hearts are absolutely adorable and would be great valentine’s for all my favorite girlfriends!
I don’t know if we will celebrate Valentine’s Day, but I like to think we will acknowledge the day by being a little more sweeter to each other. We don’t like to splurge on this commercialized celebration. It is always the little touches that count…like this giveaway. What an unique and original gift to give someone. Love it!
I don’t think we’re doing much this year. Maybe dinner out but that’s all. We’ll be “home” in PA visiting family for FI’s birthday so who knows!
LOVE the hearts. They are so cute and look so smooshable! ![]()
Last year, we agreed NOT to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. We’ve done it for the past 4 years, and it just seems like a unnecessary expense.
We will probably just make a nice dinner at home and spend the day together.
CUTE! I don’t think we as a couple are going to celebrate, seeing as we live a few hours apart, but since my mom’s birthday is that Tuesday, maybe I’ll ask her to be my valentine ![]()
We did a really cheap Christmas to save money and my FI did something REALLY sweet…and I didn’t. So I have to make it up to him on Valentines Day and I’m kind of stuck for ideas!!
But I WANT to celebrate it!
With Christmas not too far in our past I always make valentines a “hand-made” holiday. Since my fiance and I began dating in college, we have always hand-made our gifts along with our meals. It’s not about how much something is, but how much time you put into something.
our v-day is usually low-key. dinner and a movie is our norm.
we will be attending our final pre-cana session and celebrate vday w/a nice dinner at home.
Those are the cutest hearts!
We don’t make a huge deal out of Valentine’s Day, but we’ll probably go out for a nice dinner that weekend…the way to our hearts is definitely through our tummies ![]()
We always go out to dinner on a different day than Valentines day..just to avoid the crazy crowd and prices! =) We’ll be doing the same this year, hopefully a tasting menu!
No - we arent celebrating Valentines day this year due to our upcoming wedding in two months. We decided it would be best to save our money and have a nice night in with our puppy!

These are super cute. But I’m no fan of Valentines… so I’m celebrating V day with my sisters and were going to see the Canadian edition show of So you think you can Dance. Romantic huh? Afterwards though… maybe a little romantic message or something ![]()
Our piggy banks are running on empty due to all of the wedding day costs, but I always believe that you should celebrate every holiday (even made up ones!). Even if it means doing something small, which is what we will probably do. I love those hearts!
These would be so ridiculously cute for our wedding! Our invitations had multi-colored hearts on them, so these would look perfect scattered on the tables as decor people could take home at the end of the night!!!!
My birthday is the 13th so FI and I have a tradition of celebrating my birthday and then spending V-day watching scary movies and eating pizza. It’s fun to do something low-key and the scary movies give me plenty of excuses to snuggle (and hide!)
I didn’t use to care much about Valentines Day, but once I met my fiance I took on a whole new perspective. Our Valentines Day is typically pretty low-key (dinner and a movie) but I would love to have something cute like these puffy hearts to add to the day (or to the wedding for that matter)! Love them!
Absolutely I do! But like rasgoola, my birthday is in Feb (the 9th), so it’s generally a low-key affair. Food and cuddling are the basic requirements.
We usually do celebrate valentine’s day, but with our wedding coming up in May and so much money going out towards that, we’ve decided to go low key this year. We’re planning to make dinner together at home and sip a nice bottle of wine that was an engagement gift. It’s our last valentine’s before becoming husband and wife!
I always try to celebrate Valentines Day, even if I wasn’t in a relationship. Sometimes I would spend it with girlfriends or friends and I always try to remember to send my brother and parents a valentine. My FI and I try not to go out but rather we always make a nice dinner at home.
These are too cute! We’ll probably make a nice dinner at home and watch a funny dvd.
we’ll be celebrating with sushi, cartoons and chocolate. lots and lots of chocolate. i can’t think of a better way to celebrate valentine’s day!
The past two years, my sweetie and I have gone to the special V-Day night at White Castle- decorations, table service, what more could someone ask for? But after two years, I know the answer to that question- better food. Seriously, White Castle is NASTY. We may make a break for a better fast food place this year ![]()
This year for Vday I have class until 4
But after that we’re going to our fav restaraunt for some tasty Chinese and my FH promiesd me a chick flick! This is our first Vday together and I’m so excited to snuggle! AND my FH bought me the most adorable pair or ruffly blue undewear for you guessed it my something blue on our big day ![]()
Sorry was that an overshare?!
We’re getting married on Valentines Day this year. I’m excited that Valentines will always feel like a day to be truly remembered, and the mister will never forget our anniversary. We are excited to take our friends and family for a Valentines Date on us ;o)
We’re going to celebrate valentines day by going to a fondue restaurant! yummy!!
I’ve actually never been in a relationship and actually celebrated V-day. I’ve just never been a fan of the holiday and my FI feels the same way. Just feels…consumerist. We aren’t holiday fans in general for the same reason. I actually have a dentist appointment in the morning of the 14th! ![]()
How cute! We are going out the night before to save some moolah
But, we’ll probably go out for dessert on the actual day.
Gosh these are adorable! Me & the Mister are postponing Vday for two weeks because all the restaurants here in Vancouver only offer set menus on Vday for like double the price. We’re going to get to pick what we want to eat for less money :)! (Two weeks, and not one, because the week following is a good friend’s bday.)
This VDay, my SO and I are going to our favorite steak house! I can’t wait, it’s YUM’O delicious. And we’re opening a very special bottle of red wine that I’ve been saving for a special occasion. I just can’t wait too long… good bottles of wine should be drank!
Those hearts are so CUTE!
My husband says Valentine’s is a woman’s holiday so he always does something special for me, but I am never allowed to do a thing for him. Not even a card.
It’s one of my most FAVORITE day of the year!!! Last year, I came off from a long day at work to find the entire room filled with candles and rose petals and a romantic dinner all set up. Since it falls on a Saturday this year…we’re definitely having heart shaped pancakes!
DEF. plan on celebrating valentines day.
I actually just posted about it a few days ago:
http://asweetwife.blogspot.com/2009/01/arrgggggggggggggg-you-celebrating.html
These are so cute! We will actually be in Hawaii on Valentines day. FH’s family is from Oahu, and this will be the first time I am meeting a lot of them! These would be cute to give the family members.
Last year on Valentine’s Day I was crippled with an undiagnosed kidney infection. I tried to go out to dinner but I was doubled over and sweating by the time our entrees arrived. I had to be put to bed with my shoes on and the next day I got my antibiotics and was on the road to recovery. This year I am going all out!
My mom’s birthday happens to fall on Valentine’s Day so we always try to celebrate her birthday in conjunction with V-Day. Since V-Day is about love, I figure a mother’s love is as good a love to honor. ![]()
I’ve been so busy planning this wedding that I have been slacking in any other planning department…like I totally forgot our two year anniversary a couple days ago. Am I horrible or what? I hope to make up for it on Valentines day in the cuddle department
Maybe we’ll just have a nice meal, I might whip up my famous steak drizzled with blue cheese, some red potatoes, french bread and a nice salad. Yum!
I am totally celebrating. I plan to cook dinner for my FH and make him a card ( i heart DIY) and make him watch a romantic comedy with me.
Dorky- yes. Fun- yes!
These are really cute!! I actually dislike Valentines Day, my reason was nothing good ever happened to me on Valentines day (for example one year I fell and knocked myself out and b/c of that stood up my date) and I hate the color pink…until 3 years ago when as a joke somone signed me up for online dating….where I met my wonderful boy. So we celebrate Valentines day low-key with mexican food, b/c that’s what we did on our first date.
Oh I’ve got a good Valentine’s Day story! We will for SURE be celebrating because it will be the first time I’ll see my fiance in a month! We’re just in the beginning of our long distance relationship (short term, only three months) but it’s been hard so I’m looking forward to Valentine’s day more then ever!
Yes, we’re celebrating! My brother was very thoughtful with gifting us for Christmas this year. He knows we’re saving up money for the wedding and don’t have a lot of extra cash to “do things” with this year, so he gifted us with a dinner cruise for 2 on Valentine’s day. The cruise goes around the Vancouver Harbour — we had originally looked into this for our wedding, but it wasn’t practical for us, so I’m pretty excited!
Yes, we are going to celebrate valentine’s day. If everything turned out right, Feb. 14 is going to be our church wedding! What better way to celebrate it by renewing our vows? ![]()
very cute! We’ll be celebrating v-day by ourselves with some home-made sushi!
We will actually be celebrating Valentine’s Day at my FI cousin’s wedding. At least we’ll be dressed up and surrounded by lots of love, food, and drinks!
My fiance and I are going to my mom’s (6 hrs away from where we now live) Valentine’s day weekend to help her sort out the endless belongings in her house so she can put it up for sale! So I’m not so sure we’ll be able to celebrate valentine’s day during the actual date, but will hopefully be able to celebrate it soon after. We just moved our wedding date from a year and a half away to 5 months away so we’re also endlessly busy–I think it would be really nice to do something special (and not wedding related!) on our last pre-marriage valentine’s day!
(ALSO: these are so cute!!)
We will actually be at my parent’s house for Valentine’s Day - he will be working during the day so we will probably have a low-key dinner with the family that night. I love Valentine’s Day because it is right after my birthday!
we wanted to get away and take a mini vacation somewhere, but i don’t have any more vacation days left. we’ll probably order take-out food from a french gourmet restaurant and eat at home by the candle light.
Yes we are—and we are somewhat dorky…but I can’t wait!! We bought this murder mystery game from http://www.nightofmystery.com and we’ve invited friends and family over to participate. Everyone dresses up and plays along all night and everyone will try to figure out who the murderer is. Anyway, I’m excited b/c Valentine’s day is about being with those and celebrating those we love…and this is a fun way to do it. These adorable little hearts will be great to give away.
I have class all day that day :(, but hopefully we’ll do something lowkey like dinner!
So cute! Our anniversary is actually the day before Valentines so we are kinda joining the 2 that day..Melting Pot (yum!) and maybe get our wedding bands ![]()
I love Valentine’s Day! Now more than ever with my hubbie to be, but I always loved a day when I can spread the kind of pink puffy love that we forget about in these days whether it was to a boy, all my girlfriends, or my family. It’s also a crafter’s dream! Any reasons to make cards for all my honies! This year I plan to break out my brand new gocco to make de-lishes cards. I would love the puffy hearts to spread my pink puffy love!
This will be our last Valentine’s Day before the wedding so we will be celebrating our long engagement with putt putt golf and unlimited arcade games (just like our first Valentine’s Day together).
I am going to celebrate Valentines Day. We usually get each other card and something small, and try to do something we both enjoy. Usually dinner and renting some funny movies :).
our 4 year anniversary is just 10 days before v-day, so we’ll probably just celebrate one or the other. usually it’s a low-key dinner at home with chocolate (always) and some small gifts.
Yes! We always do some super secret lovey dovey special sentimental things for each other. It’s not just about me, it’s also about FH. We like to do meaningful things, like make albums for each other, or make a collage of photos from the previous year of adventures we’ve had together. I may even cook! This is a special treat, since FH is the chef of the house ![]()
I think this year we’ll celebrate vday at home and go out on a different day to avoid all the crowds! I <3 hearts!!!
yes! we love valentine’s day. we stay in and make fancy food and watch sappy love movies. ![]()
Well….our due date for our firstborn is Feb 14th, so if he’s born that day, I can’t imagine any better way of celebrating Valentine’s Day - a day of love!
I heart Palila for being a girl of my own…um…heart! The day after 2/14 IS cheap chocolate day, and that’s how we celebrate ![]()
Yes, my husband and I will most probably celebrate but not by going out. We’ll most probably just stay in and enjoy each other’s company snuggled up in front of the fireplace - can’t wait!
I’m sure we’ll celebrate. Don’t know how just yet, but this treat could sure make the planning more fun.
I love these!! We’re planning to see Wicked in SF for Valentine’s Day ![]()
These are adorable! We don’t have definite V-day plans, but we are planning to actually be in the same place, which is a significant occasion in our long-distance relationship. I’m so excited to see him!
I will be renting a hotel room and sending my fiance a follow the clues invitation to it. He has no idea. All day, he will receive clues that will lead him from 1 surprise to another. I also cut up my very own “Love coupons” where he can get all types of stuff like a “get out of jail card” and a “no nagging day” and also, “save pound (our dog) coupon” for the days where my jack russell misbehaves over and over again. Of course this surprise comes complete with strawberries and a gorgeous red ligerie.. OooOOWweee!!!! By the way, these little hearts would go so well with my “felt” favor bags for the wedding!!!!

My fiance and I will probably celebrate Valentine’s day as we usually do, but the presents will be more subdued this years since he bought me a MacBook for Christmas!
YES, of course! I am actually flying to Phoenix (from DC) to see my husband since he’ll be there for a month for work and I would LOVE to surprise him by putting these cute little hearts all over his hotel room! He doesn’t know that I am flying out there and these would be so cute to add to the surpise!!!
Pick me, pick me ![]()
yup… goin to the city where we had our first real “couples getaway” in college for one romantic night… fits the budget and reminds us of “old” times : )
We’re actually attending a wedding on Valentines Day. And it would be very cute to give the bride and groom a few of these puffy hearts.
I LOOOVE these! And if I don’t win them, I think I’ll make my own:)
This is the first Valentine’s day with my fiance & we do plan to celebrate. Our dating anniversary is one week later though, so I believe we’re going to go all out for one big celebration!
We’ll be doing a budget-friendly celebration at home, at least that’s what I’m trying to convince him! He loves going all out for these things…
I love these! I have been trying to learn how to make something similar (and make it look good!)! So cute! yes, I hope we do something for Valentine’s. It is one of my favorite holidays, but my significant other is not so romantic.
While we are not advocates of V day, I do enjoy a nice dinner out, so we usually go to Sakura on V Day with my single best friend (we’re like the 3 amigos). It’s very low key, and I look forward to it every year. ![]()
For the past 2 years the fiance and I have decided not to celebrate V-day. This year he has informed me that he is planning something very special. I can’t wait!
the hearts are so cute! we plan on spending valentines day low key this year
OMG! Those are so cute! We’ll probably spend our last V-day as an unmarried couple as we did all of them in the past. Me getting flowers and a nice card, me giving him some candy and a nice card, going out to eat, and then coming home to cuddle on the couch together.
i do but the day AFTER. it’s a little rule between friends and the fiancee. no need to spend so much money when it’ll be 50% or more off the next day. of course i do make homemade invites on time. those squishy hearts are adorable!
if i don’t win i’ll have to order some
we don’t really celebrate valentine’s day. we’d rather treat everyday like it’s v-day. cue the cheesy awww….. hehe. but those puffy hearts are so CUTE! i can already picture them adorning our favours!
Every year I have to attend a tradeshow the week of Valentines Day. So sadly, I will be working instead of snuggling.
Let’s see…. Pink hearts, pretty flowers, yummy chocolate & reminded people they are loved. What’s not to celebrate?!?!!??!
Since last year we saw Step It Up II on Valentines Day- probably another dance movie because he loves to watch them ![]()
I plan to celebrate by making my new hubby cook dinner! but my sis would love the hearts for favors!
Oh I LOVE these! they bring such a smile to your face!
With the wedding coming up, we have been trying not to splurge, so my mom is giving my fiance a gift certificate to a fancy restarunt for his bday and we will use it to celebrate Valnentines day, but he doesn’t know yet, since his birthday hasn’t happend yet.
We don’t make a huge celebration out of Valentine’s Day on the 14th– our anniversary is in February so we plan a weekend away together and make that our personal V-Day.
you know, probably not! Our anniversary is so close, that we celebrate the anniversary!
we definitely plan to celebrate but have decided to limit our spending this year since we have a wedding to budget for!
I love Valentine’s Day but hate the crowds at restaurants! So it will be a candle light dinner followed by some Rock Band over bottle of vino or two!
Every day is V-Day, and I’m just not buying into this Hallmark holiday. Our tradition is to go out to our favorite neighborhood dive bar and hang out with friends. That’s one night you can count on the bar being empty!
We will definitely celebrate Valentine’s Day! It’s our only VDay as an engaged couple. We live in a loft, I will leave a trail of rose petals from the front door of the lobby, up the stairs leading to our front door. Just to make sure he knows they’re for him, I will also sprinkle cut-out paper hearts with Martin handwritten on them. I will light round up every candle + tea light in the house and place 1/2 of them in the kitchen- where he can enjoy a glass of red wine and talk to me while I whip up a little scallop + salad dinner for us, and the other half of the candles will be in the bathroom for a bath with spa music. He loves to be pampered as much as I do! ![]()
we’re going to take a well deserved break from wedding planning! ![]()
Not by spending a lot of money, but by spending time together watching a movie or having friends over. We both are not card people.
Oh, I love the hearts! We are going to be on our honeymoon (finally) for Valentine’s Day. I think that DH has made some fabulous dinner reservations, but he’s being pretty cagey about the whole thing, which generally means that I should stop asking because some kind of surprise is in order.
we always do something special and avoid the “nice” restaurants. one year we cooked up a huge lobster and ate with our hands on a newspaper covered table… best lobster i ever had!
We are going to make a nice dinner together- saves money and is more romantic!
These puffy hearts are so adorable! For Valentines Day my fiance and I are going to the ballet the day before (for me) and a beer tasting the day of (for him).
We’re celebrating! But hopefully not spending so much money celebrating that we get stressed cuz we’re broke!
We are working My FI is a Firefighter and I am a paramedic! I think these would be awesome to give to the random people we may encounter that are having a bad day or the people that we work with that are at work. Working hard for very little pay! I love these! But the day after V-day is our day to celebrate our One year together and our first v-day!!
I think we’re going to spend the night in, I’ll cook a nice meal and we’ll relax on the couch with some wine and a movie.
of course we will! ever since we got together, we always make it a point to spend the whole V day with each other.
I have a tradition of celebrating valentine’s day with my best friend regardless of whether or not I’m with someone ^_^
Usually we celebrate the day after Valentine’s since the flowers are cheaper :P, but this year now that we’re no longer poor grad students, we are going on a romantic weekend getaway to Santa Fe, NM.
OF course! Not only with my fiance but also with my first graders (V-day is like the best day of school ever).
LOVE these! Usually my fiance and I celebrate with a quiet meal that we cook together. This year, my Christmas present to him was V-day tickets to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra! We are really excited.
CUTE! This makes me want to DIY!
For Valentine’s, me and my ol’ ball n’ chain are going to cook at home and relax! We like a low key V-Day, last year we ordered a Heart-shaped Pizza!!
We made reservations for my favorite restaurant, in December!
I’m so excited to cut into the deliciousness that is 112 Eatery with my love!
I love these! How adorable. Would be a great DIY
For Valentines day we’re spending some good old quality snuggle time in front of the TV. ![]()
I love these hearts! They are so cute! My fiance and I are planning on going to a Valentine’s Day dance that is held at our local church.
My FI and I take turns planning Valentine’s Day events. Last year I took him to the symphony and a really nice steak dinner. I have no idea what he has planned for us this year, but my guess would be that it has something to do with our favorite fondue restaurant (where we do not feel bad at all for taking three hours to finish our meal).
Of course! There is no better excuse to buy lots and lots of chocolate! I love eating it and sharing it.
so freaking cute! i don’t know if my man would want to receive these for valentines day, but i would let him give them to me!
I’m definitely celebrating! Dinner and then the new Friday the 13th movie. lol, romantic, no?
We have to work, so we’ll probably just keep it low key and celebrate our anniversary on Feb. 3 instead.
Since my fiance’ is in graduate school and we are saving for the wedding….we will be getting some take out and eating by candlelight.
awwe those are so cute, i want some! we aren’t celebrating v-day because i’m in singapore and he’s in california - but but but i’m visiting the week after so we’ll celebrate then by going on holiday to florida! yay!
We don’t normally celebrate Valentine’s Day because it marks the day that my fiance moved abroad for 2 years. He is back now
and we will be attending one of my best friend’s rehersal dinner- at a bowling alley!!
Those are quite adorable. I’ll only have about 50 attending my wedding so this giveaway would work out perfectly for me!!
Oh and yes, we will be celebrating Valentines Day. Gone are those Valentine Days that were spent alone and sad b/c I didn’t have my love.
I love these puffy hearts! We celebrate with a mellow meal and then just hanging out together- walking around town, getting dessert. Just enjoying the time to spend time with each other.
Usually with a note to each other, a dinner out, and a movie in.
Le fiance and I are babysitting for families in our church the night before V-Day so they can go out on hot dates…but I’m hoping for a hot date of my own the next day
Guess I’ll just have to wait and see…
We will probably go out to dinner. It will be nice to take an evening and not do wedding related things!
We are going to play yahtzee and cook our favorite dinner together! Ok we seriously sound like old people, but we don’t really celebrate this holiday in the mainstream ways.

This year we are celebrating Valentine’s Day in a BIG way … we’re getting married!
I always celebrate v-day w/ my girl friends, regardless of our relationship status. My fiance and I will go out the night before or after (when everything is cheaper and WAY less crowded) but the actual day is reserved for girls ![]()
The boyfriend and I have a strict no celebrating Valentine’s Day rule. I think that if you truly love someone, you should show them every single day. We don’t need a special day.. except our anniversary, I guess ![]()
We’re going to celebrate V-day, but by trying to make each day in Feb. more full of love. Since working full time and planning the wedding sometimes takes so much time that there is little “us” time….so we are going to try and focus on our relationship, giving it TLC for the whole month!
love the puffy hearts…makes you want to celebrate Vday with someone!
My finacee and I make dinner together. We alternate who picks the recipe each year and who picks the wine. The other person doesn’t know what’s for dinner until we start putting it all together. Might sound cheesy but we have a lot of fun with it
Yes, we celebrate valentine’s day
We usually do something low key to stay away from the crowds at the restaurants.
The hearts are so cute!
we like to keep it low-key as well and just have dinner together. last year we ate at our favorite vietnamese restaurant (super casual atmosphere). this year will probably be the same (though different restaurant)
We’ll probably just stay in for Valentine’s and share cards, that’s my only requirement!
Yes! We’ll be celebrating Valentine’s early this year by watching Dirty Dancing! One of my all time fave movies on stage!
Last year we didn’t really celebrate since there were so many events in February (i.e., birthdays and weddings).
Can’t wait!
Yes! I will make this years scrap book and chocolate covered strawberries!
Yes, we will celebrate by cooking dinner and enjoying a nice bottle of wine. It’s usually so cold when V-Day comes around, so we prefer to stay in, eat, drink, and cuddle. ![]()
fo shizzle!! we put a $20 limit on the gifts we get for each other so it forces us to get creative and do something meaningful.
Too cute–I can’t decide if I would scatter these on the cake (or gift) table or buy more as guest favors!
These are adorable! We will probably just go out to dinner for Valentine’s day, because we are saving money for the wedding and a house!
I love to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Thank you!
janetfaye (at) gmail (dot) com
we’re getting married this Vday, and that would be a super cute favor!
not celebrating on the 14th…but on the 15th…the anniversary of us meeting! it’s “our” valentine’s day ![]()
yes, despite the unrelenting suspicion it is a hallmark fabricated holiday!
we celebrate even if we can’t do it on the actual day. There have been many times where we havent been able to be together so we just do it early or late. These are great!
Yes, definitely we are and it will be a fun one too!! We are officially starting our gift registry (Macy’s and Crate and Barre)! After we’ll just relax and unwind at a nice restaurant. ![]()
waaaay back in the mid ninties, i signed a petition to boycott v-day, as it discriminates against the single and the broke.
however, seeing as first my gramma, and now my fiance couldn’t stop sending cards and flowers, i’ve become a reluctant convert.
My fiance and I will be going to visit his grandfather (trying to take advantage of the three day weekend). We always say we’re not going to celebrate, but usually end up doing something together that day anyway!
Wow, those puffy hearts are so cute! We’re going to stay in this Valentine’s day in order to save money for our wedding that’s around the corner!
I will most definately be celebrating Valentines Day…my first since being engaged! I can’t wait : )
Since it’s on a Saturday this year, we will probably spend it by sleeping in and spending the day in our pajamas. I can’t think of anything more romantic than bed head. ![]()
Yes! I think I’m going to make a nice romantic dinner and rent a bunch of movies for us to watch ![]()
I have to confess that Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday… call me crazy, but I believe in love and I think an extra day to celebrate your love for your someone special is just awesome! Of course I will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, and I’m really looking forward to it! ![]()
We will definitely be celebrating Valentine’s Day- how can you not celebrate a day that highlights your love for one another?
Sidenote- those felt hearts are TOTALLY adorable!!
We will probably go to a chick flick of my choice then out to dinner…no gifts this year though besides homemade cards:)
I actually never did celebrate Valentine’s Day, until the first year my now-fiance and I were together. When he stopped by my place that first year with flowers, chocolates and a cheesy but cute soft toy, my heart sunk as I saw him try to not look hurt that I haven’t even though about it, let alone bought him anything or done anything special. Ever since then, I have made a lot more of an effort!
Instead of either of us working (as in past years), this year we’ll be on holiday in the Lapland region of northern Finland this Valentine’s Day.
We’re spending the day snowboarding, going for a nice dinner and hopefully seeing the Northern lights in the evening if we are very lucky!
I’m getting married! After almost a two-year engagement, my fiance and I will be getting married this Valentine’s Day in Antigua, Guatemala.
Honestly, it sounds so cliche… but I don’t believe in Valentine’s Day. Most of the comments people have left are exactly what the multi-billion dollar industry that is Hallmark, Russ, etc, want us to embrace. My fiance and I decided that we will not celebrate Valentine’s this year, mainly because we are struggling to pay for our wedding - and we don’t need to spend money to show one another how much we love eachother. As we sit on the couch, side-by-side, watching a movie, I hope to be doing exactly this on Valentine’s Day this year.. and every other day for the rest of our lives.
After 3 years of long distance, we’ll finally be able to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 2/14 - we’ll probably do a nice dinner and attend a grad school event.
I’m making pink origami icosahedrons and covering my fiance’s desk in them.
Yes! Since it’s a 3 day weekend and next quarter school is supposed to be extra rough (I’m a med student…classes end that quarter one week before our wedding, yikes!) we’re hoping to get away to a B&B for a night. No plans as of yet, my fingers are crossed though!
Those hearts are adorable ![]()
*sigh* puffy hearts!
We’re using V-day as an excuse to take a weekend getaway and work on our vows ![]()
Of course we’ll be celebrating Valentine’s Day! We will be on the third full day of our honeymoon and it will be the best Valentine’s Day ever!!
I forgot to put what we are doing for V-day - I was way too excited about the puffiness!
We are going to dinner at the new Wolfgang Puck restaurant! Yummy!
Getting in on the contest just under the wire… my husband and I are going to dinner at a vegetarian restaurant for Valentine’s day.
We are going to our college where we met over Valentine’s Day! And those hearts are wayyy cute - I want to give one to all my friends ![]()
This year we plan to celebrate Valentine’s Day with friends and family. I’ll be helping to throw a baby shower for my best friend. There will be no better way to celebrate “love day” than to welcome the arrival of a new baby.
We celebrate in several ways…
We make a special treat for one another in the days leading up to valentines day (I made his fav pineapple upside down cake, he makes me his home made soups).
On the weekend of Valentine’s, Since my man luv’s to cook- I send him to Zov’s Bistro for their annual Valentine’s Sweetheart dinner making class. And he re-creates the meal he learned to make. And for our nieces&neighbors, we send them valentine’s cookies! So these hearts would be a perfect top to one lovely day!
we’re going on a double date with my college BFF. i’m so excited to spend time with her, her boyfriend, and my fiance! we always have a blast together.
I love these! If I had them I would give one to all of my friends for Valentines!
We’re doing our Valentines Day tradition and going on a picnic, this will be year four! And this will be the first year that we will actually have the picnic on Valentines Day, usually one or both of us is working, and as of right now neither of us are!
How amazing are these?!?! We’ll be doing a classic Valentine’s date with dinner out and sharing homemade belgian waffles with gelato for dessert!
Yes! This is the first valentine’s day in 3 years when I didn’t have to travel for work, so we’re definitely making plans. ![]()
we spend valentine’s day with his family since his twin nephews were born on valentine’s day!
These are SO CUTE!
FH and I don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day yet - but I know we’ll at least get to spend it together this year ![]()
We don’t have Valentine’s Day plans yet, but we usually celebrate with a nice dinner out!
My BIRTHDAY is on Valentine’s DAY AND I plan to receive a SPECIAL gift - ie a RING/proposal!
