Chick Flick - The Proposal

I don’t know about you, but I am a fan of wedding related movies. Actually, I have to admit that I’m a girly girl and love all chick flicks. Even though I haven’t seen Bride Wars (don’t worry, it’s on my to-do list), I can never get enough of wedding movies. I saw the trailer for the movie ’The Proposal’, and it looks hilarious. (I am a big fan of Ryan Reynolds - hotness alert!)

I loved ’27 Dresses’ and am certain this one will be as good. If you’re wondering what the connection between the two movies is, it’s the director, Anne Fletcher.

So, what’s the story about? Canadian immigrant Sandra Bullock is on the verge of getting deported, and needs to find a way to keep her job. Her solution is to marry her assistant (Ryan Reynolds).

The movie comes out June 12th of this year. I have a feeling Mr. F and I will celebrate our one-year anniversary watching a chick/wedding flick. Now that’s how you celebrate!

It’s nice to see Sandra not cast as “the girl next door.” This one looks formulaic, yet I am looking forward to seeing it! It should be cute I just wish I didn’t have to wait until June. . .

Ryan Reynolds is sooo hot. The best chick-flick is Fried Green Tomatoes and ANYTHING on Lifetime or LMN. I cannot look away from those made for TV trainwrecks.

That movie looks really cute. I have to confess, I’m not much of a chick flick person. But I do like that movie with Christina Applegate and Cameron Diaz–The Sweetest Thing.

Looks cute and Ryan Reynolds is definitely nice on the eyes. Asking which chick flick is my fave is a toughy, there’s so many to choice from…But when I was younger, I remember I used to love A Walk to Remember.

That looks really cute! It reminds me of a “How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days” premise

Hands down, though, my ALL TIME fave is “You’ve Got Mail.” I even got Mr. MagPie to admit it’s his favorite chick flick — and one he will willingly watch with me regularly.

My favorite of all time is definitely You’ve Got Mail. I love Nora Ephron movies! I’ve been really wanting to see The Proposal. Ryan Reynolds is amazing and Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actresses of all time! Sounds like it’s going to be hilarious.
