Part XXII: Beauty in the Details

January 27th, 2009 @ 3:38 pm by Mrs. Pinot Noir

There is a special beauty in the detail pictures taken on your wedding day. They remind you of all the sweat and tears you put into DIY projects, the care you took in selecting your vendors, and feelings of the day. Today I will conclude our wedding day with a recap of details.

I’m all about the details of a wedding. I love the idea of taking a picture of the newspaper from the day!

Where did you get those beautiful flowers to put in your hair? At least I think it might by your hair, it’s a little difficult to tell from the back :) So simple and elegant!

I may have just gotten goosebumps there, seeing all of those details from your wedding again. Seeing all of those little things makes it seem like just yesterday.

@MagPie518: I loved that idea too! Our photographer suprised us with it!

@AliCherri1: The tarton ribbon was the suggestion of our florist! It was such a great way to incorporate the kilts with the rest of the design.

@doublemint921: I purchased the flowers from a wonderful Etsy seller: ButterflyEnchantress.etsy.com. They are $14.99 for 3 - “3 Pearl Champagne Flower Hair Pins”

The orange and yellow really pop in the environment. I think I’m repeating everyone else, but great idea with the newspaper!
