Bedazzle Me!

January 28th, 2009 @ 4:14 pm by Mrs. Powder Puff

Bedazzle Me! : wedding jewelry 8 Img 6 No, not that kind of Bedazzle. Although, if I were wearing a sweater that snazzy I’d hope to look a little more cheery.I’m talking about bedazzling myself! With jewelry, natch!

I’d like to keep my wedding day baubles simple and sweet, but still unique. Where do you find things like this? Etsy, of course!

Now, since I’m weird and have strange rules for myself, I’m not wearing a necklace on the big day. Nope, earrings and bracelet only (as clearly defined in jewelry rule #1: No bling overload! If wearing a necklace, no earrings. If wearing earrings, you may wear a bracelet, but no necklace). And yes, I’m a freak.

So now that my options are determined, the hunt begins!

Option #1: Beadscraftz Pink Rose Garden Bracelet

Bedazzle Me! : wedding jewelry Il Full01 Perfectly sweet. This could possibly be a little bit of flower overload, with my sash and bouquet and such. I do, however, own earrings to match this.

Option #2: Bridal Emunique White Pearls Bracelet

Bedazzle Me! : wedding jewelry Il 430x054 Lovely and simple. Plus, I already own pearl earrings, so score!

Option #3: Pam Branch Designs Pearl Cuff

Bedazzle Me! : wedding jewelry Il 430x055

A beautiful cuff. The little pearls are so cute, and I love the design.

Option #4: Bridal Emunique Adeline Bracelet

Bedazzle Me! : wedding jewelry Il 430x056 Cute and simple.

So which one will I choose? I hate to leave you with a cliffhanger, but you’ll have to wait and see! Mwah ha ha!

What jewelry are you wearing on your wedding day?

Hahaha, I about fell out of my chair when I saw that picture!

These are all gorgeous, but I think #4 is my favorite. Simple and classic, done and done. :)

Oooo, option two!

I’m (most likely) doing a pearl trio (yes, I know, breaking the rule). A simple necklace, small studs and a funkier bracelet (such as your second selection!).

The pearl branch is GORGEOUS. I also like option 4. Both are lovely!

Now I know where American Apparel designer got their style cues.

I say #3 if it’s an epic dress, #4 if it’s a delicate thing.

I’ll be wearing vintage earrings and an old brooch!

I love, love, love the rose bracelet. But I almost couldn’t read anything else you wrote after that first picture….oh, the 80s and early 90s and our fashions…

I’m loving the pearl bracelet as well. I never heard this jewelry rule before but it totally makes sense… good one. And etsy really does have the perfect wedding jewelry.

I was lucky that the jewelry store where my engagement ring was from let me come in the week before the wedding and “borrow” jewelry for the wedding.

You are not a freak, I live by those rules too! I will wear small, simple stud earrings with a necklace, but nothing dangly. The neckline of my dress is adorned with beads, so no necklace for me either. I am looking for a bracelet that is pretty, but not too expensive. Thanks for the ideas!

I like 2 best, but I am a very traditional gal.

As far as your jewelry rules - mine tends to go something like: earrings always!

Lol, I just think the holes look so icky with nothing in them!

#2 is also my favorite :)
I always wear diamond stud earrings, so I’m wearing those on out wedding day… I also only wear simple necklaces, so I’m not going super fancy on that either :) I’m all about not wearing too much jewelry.

I’m pretty sure I had that sweater. It was awesome. If only I had thought to pair it with gold spandex . . . .

#2 is my fave!

I completely agree on your jewelry rules, but I thought I made them up! And I’m completely obsessed with etsy! So far I’ve had some custom-made pieces done for my seven bridesmaids, and I have a few more purchases I plan to make for my upcoming wedding.

@Tee: LOL, it’s not a real rule, it’s one I made up for myself. Because I’m anal-retentive like that.
