Gee, thanks everyone!

@phruphru For the pomanders, I folded cupcake liners in half then stuck them onto a 4″ paper lantern, squishing as many liners onto it as I could. I switched the direction/orientation of the liners every so often, too.

@egad: I love the way you carried the school theme all the way through. The save the dates, the badge escort cards, and the test tube placecards were completely ingenious. I’m in awe.

@egad, thank you! Did you use a hot glue gun? And how much time and $ did it take to make them? I love the look of the tissue paper pomanders, but I think I like you cupcake poms better!

i saw the first wedding awhile back (can’t believe i didn’t think to nominate them for bio here then!) and thought the theme was carried out absolutely perfectly. especially for a geek like myself i was totally eating up every little well thought out detail. great job egad!

@phruphru: I used double sided zots. In hindsight, I would have used a glue gun b/c a couple weeks after the wedding, cupcake liners started falling off the pomanders. The pomanders were fairly inexpensive to make, about 50 liners per, and less than an hour to assemble whilst watching tv.
