I would get the traditional bust portraits and display them near our guest book.
I would love to put a smaller version of us kissing on top of the cake!
The traditional bust portraits would be adorable over our bed! We are newlyweds still working on perfecting the decor in our bedroom.
i would go with the traditional bust portraits and hang them on either side of our favorite wedding photo above the mantle. i think it would look both modern and timeless.
I would get the bust portraits, because my family has them of everyone else but ME! I would add them to the collection ![]()
The bust portraits are awesome–and we have a similar gate like in the first picture where they would look awesome as our guests enter!!
the traditional portraits would look amazing framed above our fireplace!

What a fun giveaway! I’d pick traditional bust portraits and would use them by our guest book or dessert table. If we could get them in time, I’d love to incorporate them into our stationary.
I’d love to do this with one of our wedding pictures! We have a photo wall in our house now, so this would be a good way to break it up.
I would love to get the bust portraits and incorporate them into our wedding invitations, programs, etc! They are so classic looking and elegant. I love them!
I love the traditional busts, these would be great in our home, as well as at the wedding near the gift table!
I would use the same type of cut-out that is pictured at the top. One of him, one of me, facing each other. I think I’d hang them on the front of the wedding party table right where each of us will sit
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the busts; I would display them on the respective doors of the bride and groom suites before the wedding, and probably on the doors of the sanctuary at the ceremony. Afterward, we would frame them and display them in our home! They’re beautiful!
I like the bust potraits and I would put them at the entrance at the reception. Gosh I love these! too cute!
I’d go with the traditional bust portraits. both mr B&J and I have them from childhood as well so it would make a beautiful set!
I love the traditional busts I’d hang them at the entrance to the church
i love these! i think i would use them on the doors leading in to the reception or at the pictures table!
I’d love to hang them on the bathroom doors of our venue. So cute.
The place where we are getting married (the Orensanz Foundation in NYC) is full of charm but the proprietors don’t pay the utmost attention to small details. I would use the traditional bust silhouettes on the bathroom doors, which are right at the back of the main reception room, as a classier and funkier indicator of which loo our guests should use.

Both silhouettes are so beautiful! I’d get the traditional busts, and first hang them on the doors just before the entrance to the chapel, then for the reception I’d hang them just over the front of our table to represent as we move about the room
After the wedding they would go on our walls with our other black and white photos!
Beautiful! I’d get one of me and one of him and use them at our picture table at the reception. Then, I’d definitely get them framed and hang them somewhere prominent in the house ![]()
I love the traditional busts but I think I would go with the couple portrait and give it to my mom as a gift. My mom collects sihouettes and I think the couple portrait of me and my hubby on our wedding day would mean the world to her. ![]()
I would get the bust portraits and hang them in my dining room. They’re so lovely and classic!
I would get the bust portraits and place them above our seating cards so our guests can see them. Our color scheme is black and almond. The portraits would also go perfect with our theme which is a classy, old world style.
I would have one of the two of us together, looking at one another. I just love these!
i LOVE these! i would get one of one of our wedding portraits and hang it up in our front hall. SO CUTE!!
I would love the bust portraits. I was going to do this digitally for our guest signed frame (instead of a traditional guestbook) using bright colors instead of black but a custom CUT version would be much much sweeter! Then we’ll hang the guest signed frame in our bedroom.
These are beautiful! I’d get one of us holding hands and have a rubber stamp made of it. How fun would they be in our invitations?
i love the bust portraits. I would also use them for my guest book table.
I would love to have a silhouette of our wedding day and I would frame and hang it in our house!
I think I would have one of us together and display is by the cake - I’d like to have our parents’ wedding pictures by the cake and it would be the cutest to have our “to be” wedding picture (get it - since it is a cut out) by theirs. We could then put it up in our apartment.
I’d love to have a bust post-wedding of us holding hands. It would be neat if there was a way to incorporate the train tracks near by.
I’d love to have this hang in our home and become an heirloom.
Thanks!
Kate
I love the one of the bride and groom! I would definitely want that one. I would frame and hang it in our apartment.
I would love to have the bust portraits! I would probably hang them at the entrance to our wedding, or over the guestbook table. After the wedding, they’d definitely go up on the wall and provide some much-needed glam to our tiny NYC apartment!
i would LOVE to use the busts on the doors of the church! How stylish!
I love this! How sweet and sentimental! I would love to use the busts in our home and incorporate it into a wedding motif. i’m thinking…save the dates?? the possibilities are endlesssssss!!!!
I would love to have the traditional bust portraits and place them near the guest book. Then afterwards, hang them in our house.
I would go with the traditional busts and I would put them in a hallway facing each other. Now I just need to get a house with a hallway…:)
I am tempted by the one together, however, the busts are classic and I would definitely use them at the wedding somehow and then at home!
I love the couple together and I would use it as a piece of art to be displayed along with a wedding photo. I would display it in our room since it goes well with our current color scheme.
AACK, so perfect! I’m planning on using just the traditional bust cutout as a theme in the wedding. I don’t have colors, so this is the closest to that I’m getting. The whole wedding will be old timey and rustic, and the silhouette cutouts are perfect with that. In an effort to DIY, I attempted to make our on silhouettes using pictures and photoshop, and while they’re passable, they’re no where as wonderful as what Karl can do. I’ve already used them on our save the dates, have used them on our website, and will also use them on the invitations. If I win, I’ll use the cut outs Karl makes on the website and invitations, and will feature the actual ones prominently somewhere in the reception. After the wedding, they’ll hang in the dining room.
Oh, these would be so cute in my antique garden wedding! I would use the traditional busts and hang them on a wall, door, or fence in the entrance of the garden.
I would do the two portraits and use them as the cover for our ceremony programs. Our programs are designed to have two pages facing each other, and I love the idea that the silhouettes could mirror what the people at our wedding see, us looking at each other during the ceremony.

I would LOVE to have his and hers cut outs for our bedroom. We just bought our first home and are slowly getting settled, but what a personalized treat. We haven’t hung any wedding photos either, and I would find a way to integrate these into a cluster on our bedroom wall!
If I’d had them in time for the wedding I would have hung them above the cake because we didn’t really have a guest book table (we had a wish bowl for the cocktail hour that got moved upstairs and put away for dinner).
I would love the bust portraits! We have private elevators at our venue so I would probably hang them in there. I’ve been looking for a way to dress them up and these would be perfect. (after I’d put them in the wall reserved in our home for wedding pics ![]()
I would love to have the traditional bust portraits. At the wedding, I would hang them on the doors from between where the cocktail hour will be held and the reception. Once got back home, they would look perfect over our bed. Such a great reminder of what marriage is - two people, ignoring the rest of the world, and gazing upon each other.
I think the bust portraits are so darling! They’d be so cute framed on the wall above our cakes!
I’d love a cutout of me and my fiance, maybe our dogs too to use in our photobooths!
we would get the traditional busts, and put those as our “reserved seating” — then hang them over the bed after the wedding!
I think I’d go with the bride and groom cut out. I think it’d be gorgeous in our Master Bathroom after the wedding (we have a lot of black and white). Love it!
I would get the traditional busts and hang them at the entrance to the wedding, then have them over our bed!
@amy77jc: That’s such a great idea about the pets!
I’d totally love “busts” of my golden retriever and kitten. we are a family now, right? ![]()
I would use the traditional bust portraits of each of us near the guestbook, surrounded by our engagement photos!
I would love the bust portraits to hang over the barn doors at our venue!!
The traditional bust portriats would be so much fun in the master bath for His/Her sinks or maybe on our closet doors for His/Her closets!
I looove love love the bust portraits to put on one of our sadly empty walls.. I love the look of the two of them together facing each other so sweetly
I would be especially excited to win this to get a profile of my sweet fiance’s honkin big nose!! ![]()
I would love the 8×10 of the two of us as a welcome sign!
I would love to have single portraits done of my fiance and I for near the photobooth. Please pick me…I have so many uses for them after the wedding as well.
Hard to decide! I would probably get the one of the two of us, and use it for decoration in our bedroom. Those are so gorgeous!
I love love love the bust portraits… I would use them above the guest book table, and then home above our bed!
i would love the traditional bust portraits to hang in our bedroom!!!! so cute:)
Oooh, the traditional bust portraits. Maybe on the doors going into the ceremony? So many places I could use them! They would definitely work well with the classic theme I’m aiming for.
I’d love any of the styles….but the bust-style portraits would be a perfect compliment to our modern, black-white-blue bedroom!
I would pick traditional bust portraits, and hang them from the doors of the chaple we’re getting married in (similar to the photo). Afterwards I would definately frame them and have them hanging in our house- my mother always had our silhouettes hanging, so it’s a bit of nostalgia to me!
Love the bride and groom bust ones to hand in the house after the wedding.
The traditional bust portraits are my favorites and remind me of the colonial house where we will get married. I would display them on the wall above the table with the escort cards and take them back home to hang in my living room!
I would get the traditional bust portraits and use them either on our guestbook table or as our actual guestbook!
These are so beautiful! I would love to have a bride and groom bust made. We would hang it by this console table in the foyer of our venue where we’ll have lots of family portraits up. Afterward, we could even display it on our wall shelf at home =)
I would get one of the two of us facing each other holding hands. I would use it on the wall in our venue that is a small, old house. I would be so perfect there!
I would love a bride and groom bust and display it at the entrance of our venue. They are adorable.
i love the bust portraits. we would first display them on the guestbook table & then above the fireplace in our home. (next to the one my sister & i did in grammar school).

Oh I would LOVE the bust portraits to go above our bed! I’ve been trying to think of something creative to put up there!
I would get the traditional bust portraits and display them at the ceremony. I would put them at the entrance to seating so that everyone knows where they should sit, the bride’s side or groom’s side! Personally I always forget what side is which so this would be fabulous!
I would love to get one of us as a couple giving an “eskimo kiss” (you know, with your nose), or resting the backs of our heads together. That would be great to use for the thank you cards!
And the busts would be great to just incorporate in the wedding decor. I would really like to make a table with wedding pictures of all the people who are coming. Perhaps we can put the busts there as well!
I would display the bust portraits hanging above the fireplace at our venue from beautiful ribbon. After I would look forward to DIYing a new master bathroom retreat with the busts as the focal point of the bathroom decor.
I would love the traditional bust portraits, I would hang them on our chairs at the reception with ribbon similar to the example of the ones hanging on the doors after the wedding I would hang them in our sitting area in our bedroom.
I would loooove to put the traditional bust portraits over our bed - or even on the door that faces the patio where we will be getting married. I just want them! ![]()
I would love to put a cut out of the two of us in my wedding scrapbook. I’ve always wanted cutouts done!
I think I would prefer the 8×10 portrait. I would love to add it to our house (when we finally find one!) and I think it would be a wonderful contrast to all our other mostly color pictures. ![]()
Swoon!!!! I would love to have the original busts done of me and my fiancee!
We are getting married at an outdoor venue.
You have to walk down this gorgeous path way to get to the lawn where the wedding will be taking place.
I would love to have one hanging at the beginning of each of the sidewalk. That way once guests arrive it will clue them in to start walking down the sidewalk to be seated for the ceremony!
LOVE IT!!!! ![]()

Ooooh, I would get two bust portraits and hang them above our bed, or put them on our mantle!
I’d love to have a couple cutout based on one of our (yet to exist) e-pics. I’d display it at the reception and then keep in our home in a prominent spot. What a keepsake!
I would love the traditional bust portraits of my FH and I. We could use them on our sweet heart table rather than a table number or marker — maybe hung over the side with ribbons…and then they’d look awesome above our bed framed after the wedding!!

I’d def go for our busts, but maybe adding our cats into it too
I love them! (the cutouts and the cats)
I would use the bust portraits on our invites. they’d be perfect for our vintage summer wedding!!!! I love them.
I would get the couple’s portrait for my sister and her husband who are expecting their first baby, the first in the family.
I would love the couple cut-out. My FI and I have one of us together from Disney World that I love and this would make a perfect compliment to that!
Our colors are black and white - I would get the traditional bust portraits and display them near our guest book.
I would love the cuple’s cut-out and place it either in our living room or bedroom.
I absolutely love silhouettes! I would go for the bust portraits. I would use them somewhere at the wedding, but defintely to hang up in my house!
This would go so perfectly with our “retro-glam” vintage them! And black is also one of our colors. I would LOVE to have the bust style cut-out for our wedding! We could use it in so many places.
1) Invitations
2) on the front door as you enter our ceremony/reception venue (same place)
3) on the front of the polaroid guest book
4) tied to our chivari chairs with ribbon (just for the bride and groom)
I LOVE this idea!
this is perfect, i would totally love that these pieces can be used in our home too!
i forgot to say i’d love the face silhouette and would use it first on the doors entering our reception venue and then on the cake table! I’d love to have them next to the fireplace after the wedding too!

I’d get the traditional bust portraits and hang them (with pale pink ribbon!) from the huge glass-and-beam doors in the ballroom where we’re having our reception.
I would love to have a portraits to hang with wedding photos!
The traditional bust portraits!!! I would add them (to the center!) of the collage of black and white photos I have dispalyed above our fireplace!
what a fantastic idea! we would have the busts done and use them on the back of our chairs at the reception and then hang them on either side of the wedding certificate we’re having made to hand in our living room
I love these! We would LOVE to put these on the flat wood panels from any arts and craft store and hang them above the guestbook table!
I would love to get the traditional bust portraits and display them on our guestbook table. After the wedding, they’d go on the wall above our bed.
I love the traditional silhouettes. I would hang them on the double door entrance to our reception room at the wedding (instead of the hanging initials that you see so often).
I would have to go with the couple portrait. I think it would make a great focal point as you enter the reception area and then as a permanent fixture in our foyer area!
So pretty! I would do the individual silouttes and secure them to the tree we are getting married by.
So awesome.
I would love the individual silouttes!! I would post them at the ceremony site!
Definitely the bust portrait. I would use it at the wedding and afterwards, hanging on the doors of our master suite.
Absolutely beautiful work! I’d choose the traditional silhouettes/bust of both of us!
The theme of the wedding is old south meets old hollywood and this is such a nod to gentler times!
I would showcase the silhouettes on the table with the wedding cake and groom’s cake! One framed on each side!
I actually blogged about this several months ago and love silhouettes! After using them at the wedding, I would love to have them as wall art in the office or in the family room in a focal area in the built in bookcase!
wow! it would make great std cards. i like the couple together please!
this might be a little weird, but I would love the once of each to put in our black and white vintage Paris themed bathroom!

I would love to have His and Hers portrait for our bedroom. It is so romantic and perfect!
I have been drooling over the idea of bride and groom silhouettes since I first saw them on an invitation featured in Martha Stewart Weddings! I would choose the two traditional bust portraits and display them with ribbon at the entrance of my country club reception. After the wedding, they would be so sweet framed, hanging in our bedroom ![]()
That is so freak’n cool! I would use it at entrance to the reception and then in our house afterwards.
I would take the bust portraits and hang them on the reception hall doors. And then they would definitely find a place in out apartment after.
we’ve been talking about how much we like silhouettes a lot lately so this is perfect! i think i’d like the busts, maybe to sit behind us at the reception?
I love the 8×10 portrait of the couple together. I would either frame it and hang it at home, or have the guests sign it and then frame it and hang it at home.
I would love to use our custom silhouettes as our first holiday card and then continue the tradition every year with different backdrops and new additions as we watch our family grow!
I would do separate pictures and I would put them on the doors of the church surrounded by a wreath of flowers.
I’d love the couple together !!! They would be such great favors for the guests! our wedding is black tie and would tie everything in!
Definitely the busts - I’m a graphic designer, so I would incorporate them into little touches throughout the wedding and reception from the programs to the candy buffet favor boxes… I’d also love turning them into stamps to “sign” our thank you notes with!
I would loveloveLOVE the traditional bust portraits of us! We are getting married at my fiance’s grandparents’ house. They just got custom wrought iron gates made for the entrance into their garden for our wedding. His grandparents’ would LOVE to see their new gates accented on our wedding day with old fashioned charm.
After our wedding I would hang them up in our new home. ![]()
I’d love to have the individual busts. We are having out reception at a small historic home with a full wall bookshelf in one of the rooms. We plan to fill the shelves with old family photos and flowers, it would be so cool to add these in with the black and white family photo’s we’ve amassed. Also it would be wonderful to hang these in our home after the wedding and add little silhouettes to the collection later. ![]()
I would hang traditional portraits of us on the doors to church. I would also LOVE a silhouette of a squirrel!
ooohh…our caterer offered us a lemonade welcoming station before the ceremony and what better way to welcome our guest with some classy portrait cutouts!
I would hang our silhouettes on the wall next to our daughter’s after displaying them at our September wedding. I had one made of her last year when she was 5 with the intentions of doing ours too but ran out of money for extras before we got ours done. I really, really would love to win. Thanks for the opportunity.
Honestly….I want them BOTH! With a formal black and white color scheme having bride and groom together would be sweet and I would want to use the head portraits as decor in the house. Such a fun idea!!!
I would love to display these in the ceremony room as the guests are entering. Can he do our kittens too? ![]()
I would do the bust portraits, and hang them on the wall next to our wedding photos… once I get married and have wedding photos! ![]()
I would get the bust portraits and hang them on the barn at our reception.
Well my sweetie and I have been together for 10yrs. and are putting letters we have sent to each other through the years in frames on display at our reception to add a vintage look. To be able to have sihouettes of each of us on that table as well would be an absoulte dream!!! Especially since we have ones when we were in the 3rd grade that we are incorporating as well.
I would get the traditional busts and display them by the guest book, then display it in our home after the wedding ![]()
I would love the bust shilouette’s. Being a graphic designer I could easily tie these into our fab invites or even thank you cards along with displaying them on our head table. What a great giveaway!
What an amazing giveaway!
I would love to have bust portraits made of my husband and I from our wedding day and hang them next to those we already have of our dear grandparents. They weren’t able to make it to our wedding last fall and we struggled with ways to illustrate our love for them in their absence.
This would be a beautiful way to forever include them, both in our wedding and life.
I would get the traditional bust portraits of myself and my fiance, and display them at the entrance of the room where we’ll be holding our ceremony and then again by the table for our guest book. They’re so beautiful!
While I love the portraits, I just love the silhouette of the wedding couple. Capturing that moment in that day in such a timeless fashion would be a lovely gift to cherish in the future.
I would get the traditoional bust portraits of myself and my fiance and I would hand them on the doors leading into the ballroom of our reception. An unexpected touch that would add glamour to our reception decor.
I would choose the traditional portraits and would display them in a wall collage of black and white childhood and engagment pictures of myself and FI. ![]()
We’d use the traditional bust portraits and they’d serve double duty! First, we’d use them at the entrance of our garden wedding reception, then they’d be hung in our master bath! They’d go perfect with the classic decor!
I’m SWOONING over the traditional busts. I would hang then from the balcony during our reception and then frame them for our living room!!

Traditional bust portraits, and I would put them near the guest book. They would look adorable with our rustic setting ![]()
Bust portraits: At the reception, over our respective “growing up” collages (think French memo board for this). After, over our respective sides of the bed.
On the other hand, the couple’s photo would make an adorable over-the-fireplace piece…
I would put them in a book frame (I’m not sure what they’re called, but basically a frame that is hinged and has one picture on each side on the inside, and closes like a book) without the glass and have my guests sign the outside white portion with a thin black marker. A modern and very personalized guest book that we will be able to display in our home forever!
I would love one of us on our wedding day together so that it could hang near our ketubah!
I would put the traditional portraits on our cake table. how adorable!
Traditional bust portraits.
I would use them in standing frames at the guest card table. After the wedding I would use them to decorate our entry way in our apartment. We are college stuednts so our “art” has been subjected to stolen street signs and band posters. These would be perfect for our transition into adulthood!
I would get the traditional bust portraits to hang up in our new house.
I would use the traditional bust portraits on our escort card table at the wedding and then hang them in our hallway afterward. They’re so fancy!
Oh, these are amazing! My fiancee and I took an animation class together where there was a lot of discussion of paper-cut animation, so this is particularly cool to me!
I think we’d use the 8×10 couple portrait, mount it on a white mat, and then mount that one on a larger black mat. We could then put out a silver pen for people to sign the black mat with. It would make a really creative guest book. In fact, I might have an artist friend paint our silhouettes so we can do just that! ![]()
Oooh I would want the traditional busts. They would look so perfect hanging over the side of our bookshelves.
I would love to do a silhouette of our hands coming together underneath the two bust portraits. So cute!
I would have a photo of me and my husband cut and give it to him for our first anniversary in march. 1st anniverisary == paper. =)
I love these!!! I have a set of my siblings that I just dug up not too long ago, from when we were kids - but I would use these on the restroom doors at the reception - ladies and gents!
I absolutely adore silhouettes. We actually used a silhouette of our two adorable pooches on the programs because they weren’t able to be there. I would have really like to have had a bust one of each of them and the DH and me for the programs as well as a sign to hang behind out seats at the bridal table.
I would love a couple portrait. There is a little
hut on the property that we plan to have as a
place to show our family photos. Since it is near
the beach, I think the couple portrait incorporated into a mobile would be so CUTE…dancing in the wind. =)
Ooooh ooooh me me… I’ve been trying to do these myself, and it is sooooo hard. I would choose the bust portraits of us to hang in the perfect display wall in our house, and then as we expand our family we could follow with their silhouettes
I love the traditional bust cut outs!! We would hang them on the grand entry way of the “Yurt” where dancing will be. Then we would hang them in our lovely new dining room! They would add so much elegance, and charm to both our wedding and home.
I would love the portrait of the bride and groom. I would hang it in our family room
I would use the traditional bust cutouts as decoration in our entry way. It would be a perfect end to a long day to walk in and be reminded of what’s really important in my life: my guy and our marriage.
Love these! I would pick one of each of us and hang them in my home above my kitchen table.
The portraits, and I would have them on easels at the ceremony the correct sides of where the guests are supposed to sit! ![]()
I love the busts. For the wedding, I would hang them on the outside doors of the church. Mine on the left and his on the right. Afterwards, I would lovingly display them above our piano which would be the beginning of a collection for years to come.

When I was yonger (about 3 or 4) my mom had these done of my brother and I, and I recently found out my fiance also had one made at about the same age. I was planning on putting them on either the guestbook or cake table, and I think it would be awesome to have “older” version of us together as well! The 8×10 would be perfect!
I would love the side facial profiles and would hang them on the entrance to the estate where we are having our wedding!
I’d love to get the traditional bust portraits and display them next to the silhouette portraits my fiance and I both have from our childhood.
I like the bust portraits of the bride and groom and I would hang them on the door knobs of the hotel suites so our relatives would know who among the two of us is occupying the room.
I’d choose the traditional bust portraits. They would fit our black and white color scheme perfectly–I’d have them hanging by the place cards, I think. And then display them in our home after the wedding!
I’d choose the traditional bust portraits and use them on the doors leading out to our ceremony area and possibly behind our table at the wedding. Then I’d totally display them at the house so they’d be looking at each other from opposite sides of the wall.
I love the traditional bust portraits. We’re doing kind of a vintage inspired wedding and these bust silhouettes would fit in perfectly with our theme! I would hang them as the start to the clotheslines of pictures we’re planning on decorating our reception site with. Afterward, i’d want to hang them in our living room as art.
We would love the individual portraits! They would be perfect on the doors to the ceremony and then on our wall full of family photos and memories!
I would do the bust portraits. They would be cute on the doors to the reception and then I have a blank wall in our dining room that I haven’t figured out what to do with and this would be soooo cute!!
I would love the bust portraits and I would use them on our cake table (with our black, white and yellow cake) and then over our his and hers desks in our new office.
I would love portraits of us holding hands and would love to display it in our bedroom. Please pick me!
I would have the separate bust portraits of the bride and groom. These would be displayed at my wedding reception since it is a vintage theme!
I love the separate bust portraits. I think I’d hang them in our new home (ok, apartment, whatever!) in our living room.
The bust portraits would be so perfect - FI’s mom has one of each of her kids, so it would be a great tradition to start with our new family.
I love the bust portrait its so different. I never seen anything that. I would love to give it to my grandparents. I ‘m the olny girl on that side of the family. And since my dad has pasted away I would them to have something special from me on my big day. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love the bust portraits — I would hang it above our bed!
I would get the traditional bust portraits and hang them from the trees by where we’ll say our vows. After the wedding, I’d put them in the kitchen!
how classic and gorgeous!! I think I’ve found the perfect framed piece of art to put above our respective night stands! We have been throwing ideas around, but this will just mean so much to us to know we have something so meaningful but not CHEESY wedding related to admire every day for the rest of our lives…what a beautiful way to remember the day! Please please pretty please pick us!
I love the 8×10, so classy! I don’t have a place to put it yet, since we don’t know where we’re living once we’re married, but it would definitely have a prominent spot!
ooh, these are fantastic! i love the idea of using the cut-out as a more updated version of the wedding portrait. I’d hang it in our living room and let it blend with the rest of the modern decor!
Squeal! AHHH, this would work out PERFECTLY for our theme! We’re using silhouettes for our Save the Dates but didn’t have them done professionally (just found the closest images we could online). I would LOVE to use the bust portraits throughout the weekend (we’re getting married over Labor weekend and have a few parties being thrown). Pick us us please!!
Ooh, the bust portraits! We could display them at our guestbook table, or possibly the cake table, and then hang them in our bedroom or living room as a memento for our future together. How adorable!
I am completely and totally in love of the 8×10 portrait of the couple! I’d utilize the artwork by having it in the entryway of our reception area- letting it be the first thing our guests see. I think the couple portrait reiterates the idea of unity.
After the ceremony, it would be used as the cover of our wedding album. The wedding album would be displayed in a shadowbox on the wall, proudly exhibiting Karl’s amazing artwork.
I love these! I would like to incorporate the bust portraits of each of us into our candy buffet! I am thinking that I would hang them with ribbon as shown in the picture. After the wedding I would have them displayed in our room that we create together as a couple. I would love to have another portrait (framed) of us as a couple to utilize on the guestbook table to carry out the theme.
WOW! I would get the traditional bust portraits.. they would be great to add to the wedding!
I would get the bust portraits and hang them around the guest book table!
I would choose the traditional bust portraits to decorate our bedroom–we just moved in and the walls are asylum bare.
we currently reside in DC but may be relocating after the wedding…so something with our bust and the dc monuments behind us.
I have always been obsessed with silhouette portraits! My sister and I have some from when we were little girls so this would be great to have now that I’m grown up and getting married! I love the traditional style portraits and think they’d look great in our new home! ![]()
I’d go for a portrait of the two of us hugging, put it on the guestbook table, and if possible also use it for thank-you cards.
I love them both but I would pick the traditional bust portraits because I wouldn’t know where to put the larger one in the house (even though I like that one better). I would hang them in the entranceway or hallway or living room because more people will see them when they come and visit the house. I had a teacher that made them once for us for our 8th grade graduation. She took one of those old light projectors and traced us and then cut it out.
I would adore a set of the traditional bust portraits. I would also probably one to purchase one of my daughter. I would frame them and then hang them in our entry way or kitchen.
I would have the individual bust portraits made. For the wedding, we would use them as decoration (our reception hall is being decorated with family photos from top to bottom!). Afterward, they would be a charming addition to the decor in our bedroom. I like the idea of hanging them over the bed in vintagy frames. Cute!
I LOVE the bust portraits–such a cool way to liven up the reception site and yet have something you can hangup at home when it’s all over!
I would love to have an 8 x 10 portrait of me and the hubby to be. We do not have a house yet but, when we do I would find a place to display it. I also think it would be a wonderful heirloom to pass down to one of our children.
I would love to get the bust portraits and hang them on our chairs in our reception. They will go up in our new condo after the wedding!
I would love the busts and use them as backdrops behind our sweetheart table with a matching “T” monogram in between!!! So beautiful!
I would love to hang it on the door to our reception hall, or even place them on the place card or cake table. Best part is they would be super chic to hang in our home after the wedding!!! Love them!!! ![]()
Wow these are the coolest! I would hang the bust portraits on the doors to our church. Originally we were going to do our first initials but this is way better! The after the wedding they can go in our house, and maybe someday soon add little baby portraits to match.
I just love these! I would use them at our sign in table and then have them displayed in our home afterwards.
I’d get one with his cat and my cat … because they’d never be in the same room long enough to “sit” for picture!
I love the idea of hanging the bust portraits on the bathroom doors at the reception venue! Afterward, we can hang them in our home ![]()
I would get the traditional busts and display them on a piano that is in the foyer of the reception hall.
I would get the traditional busts and display them on each one’s hotel room doors as we’re getting ready for the wedding. Afterwards, I’d like to have them hanging on the honeymoon suite doors in a way where it looks like they’re kissing each other.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE silhouettes. We could use them on our guestbook… on our save the dates… on our invites… on our table…. the wedding favor is a fantastic idea, though likely not in our budget! I could go on and on!
The traditional busts would be perfect for us. I can just see them hanging in a place where everyone could see them and then adding additional busts when we have kids (it could be a family tradition)
I Love the busts! They would be so perfect for the wedding and to hang in our home!
The bust porttraits. I would use them at the 2nd set of doors at the church, mine on the bride’s side, and his on the groom’s.
I loveeee the cutouts! I would pick the tradtional bust and have them on the doors of the church and after the wedding I would put them on the guest book table. After the wedding I would hang them in the hall at our home and one day add others of our children!
i love the bust portraits! i would display the at the wedding, but afterwards they would go straight on our walls at home. best of all, we could add to the collection as our family grows!
ohhh the bust portraits are fantastic. I would love to have them to hang in our bedroom (we are newlyweds)!
oh how i love love love these!! i would have the busts done, have them framed with a substantial black oval frame. I would have a mat made for each, cream with a about an inch black border around the actual bust, and perhaps a very thin gold edge between the black and white mat. I would hang them at the reception behind the cake table. I’m so tired of the whole wedding cake alone on a round table thing. I’m putting my cake on a raised cake stand with a large ribbon wrapped around the base. I could use matching ribbon to hang the framed busts behind the cake. what a wonderful keepsake from our wedding these would be!!
I would do a similar full body cut-out with my hubby-to-be and then use it as the guestbook for everyone to sign, then frame it in our house!
I’d want the bust silhouettes and I’d use them by the guestbook table.
I would like the bust portraits and put them as part of my (eclectic) dessert table that is going to be black, white & cream color based! Thanks!
my colors are black white and green and I’d love to use this as the picture on the easel at the reception site
my colors are black white and green and I’d love to use this as the picture on the easel at the reception site and eventually in our bedroom over the bed. God know that man has a beautiful profile!
I would love to have the two of us walking our dog! She won’t be able to be there, so it would be nice to incorprate her. Plus it’s one of our favorite thing to do together!
I would do the individual busts and then use them as the cover photos for our guestbook.
We are having a rustic/vintage wedding and these would be perfect! I would display them in the cake room, near the display of my grandmother, mother, and FMIL’s dresses that I am doing.
I LOVE these! They will look stunning at our vintage summer garden wedding. I’d love to have a pair of the traditional bust portraits hanging behind our guestbook table, or perhaps behind the cake, cookie and cheese buffet…..seeing as bride and groom are both such enthusuastic eaters!
I would love to do a silhouette of one of our engagement photos and use it as part of the guestbook / placecard table.
I love the traditional busts. I always had a vintage set of mother and daughter in my bedroom. I would love to compliment ( or replace them ) with husband and wife. I would also put them on the mantle of the fireplace that we are getting married in front of!
I like the traditional busts, I would out in up as a backdrop of the stage (instead of our names).
@MightySapphire: I’ve been wondering the same thing! I check this post all the time, crossing my fingers that it will be me!
