Our engagement photos were taken by Sissy Piglet’s good friend Inhar. Even with her as our photographer, we were still a bit camera shy in the beginning. It’s really weird to have your photos taken! Despite being advised to NOT wear matchy matchy outfits, Mr. P and I amused ourselves with couple’s tee shirts (I persuaded him a teensy bit). He wore his sneakers and I wore my Ugg(lies), as one of my BFFs refers to them, and we were good to go as far as outfits were concerned. We wanted a variety of pictures, so we also brought along some props.
Prop #1: Jorge aka George aka Georgia May aka GEORGE! (We’re always screaming because she’s quite rebellious.) We gave her a fresh cut, trimmed her ears - and voila - she stole the spotlight. As you can see from the picture below, she camera shy as well, hence, the pictures of her behind.
Prop #2: Chair. We loved the idea of having some chair shots. Mr. Pigs wanted to drape the chair with a colored bed sheet to add contrast to our pictures. Eh, it was a good idea but we probably could’ve used a larger chair and tossed the sheet idea.

Ahh little miss Georgia May is so precious. Mr. P had a good idea to drape the chair, it definitely adds nice contrast

George IS such a cutie! She’s sitting on my lap right now. 
Mr. MagPie and I used props, as well! Half of our pictures were in Reading Terminal Market, so we played with fruit, shared an ice cream cone, etc. And I instructed him to buy balloons earlier that day (while I was in hair and makeup) 
and we used them during our outside shots!
haha my Uggs made an appearance in my engagement photos, too. Totally unintentional- I brought “fancy” boots but it was SO COLD and she insisted on outdoor shots. I didn’t mind because I am an unapologetic Ugg lover.
I wish I had a prop #1!!

Cute pics! We wore matching outfits, and although it wasn’t necessarily the hip thing to do, I really didn’t care much!
I’ve never thought of bringing props but now it’s a done deal. Now, where can I find a puppy as cute as little Jorge?
Jorge is so freakin cute. I wanted to include my doggies in our e-pics, but they would have jumped on and tongue harassed the photographer.

Your puppy is soooo cute! Where were you in Baltimore? I’ve been scouting around for good places to take e-pics… So far, I’ve come up with Mt. Vernon…. and um… that’s it. >_<
Beautiful pictures, your photographer is great. I would have LOVED to have my Jack Russell pup as a cute prop in our E-photos but he’s a crazy boy and can’t be trusted off the leash yet.

@Piaffette: Yay another bride from Baltimore. We went to Park School for the first part of the day, and headed over to Fells Point afterward. I have more pics to post so hopefully I’ll get that out soon!

I have ALWAYS loved photos with old sofas in random places. So chic.
I think it’s so sweet that he wanted to contribute his ideas! I love the pop or orange with the fall leaves on the trees.
love the dachshund! my boyfriend and i live in alexandria and we have 2 maltese/dachshund puppies.. they’re the loves of my lives =)
